In the spring semester of my sophomore year, I decided to spring rush! I knew I wanted to find my home away from home, and I was lucky enough to join KD and meet so many new girls! Being a part of Kappa Delta has brought me many new relationships, opportunities, and experiences. College can often feel stressful and overwhelming. Being a part of a sorority has comforted me during stressful times because I am surrounded by girls who encourage and uplift me every time I see them. I am so thankful for the sisterhood and love I have received since becoming a member of Kappa Delta.

I am lucky enough to live and go to school with my three best friends! My best friends, Addi and Bailey, are identical twins. I have been friends with both of them since 6th grade! They have become like family, and I love that I am getting to experience college with them. Addi is an engineering major, and Bailey is an accounting major. My third roommate, Samantha, is also an elementary education major. I met her freshman year, and we have been inseparable ever since! It is so fun having someone that I am so close to, that I can go through classes with, and who understands my passion for wanting to be a teacher. My best friends are the people who make Fayetteville so fun while I'm away from my family! We love going to games, watching movies, being outside, and getting coffee together.

One fun fact about my student life is that my older brother also attends the University of Arkansas! He is in his second year of law school here at the U of A. My older brother Ethan has always been the person I look up to the most in life. He is six years older than me, but that never kept us from being best friends. Ethan is hard-working, smart, and so compassionate. I remember being so excited when I found out that the two of us were going to be attending the same school again since he had been away at college the entire time I was in high school. Having him in Arkansas with me has given me a sense of safety and a person I can always count on. We often eat/make dinner together or go get dessert together! It also makes it easier for my parents to come visit us at school.
