Paul Till took the photo that Bob chose for the Blood on the Tracks album cover. He would sneak his camera into concerts and use solarization on his b&w film then used photo dyes to DIY shenanigans that one would typically do with photoshop nowadays. The album cover really looks like a painting, it's very surreal.

I really love how Henry captures different aspects of nature throughout different times of the day as well as weather conditions. I find it interesting how a majority of his pictures contain a red glow close to the camera that gradually fades into the nature.

Johann is a 20 year old photographer based in Germany. I find his work motivating and inspiration because like him, I have a deep and profound love for nature. He does a lot of photography of animals, and like him that is also my favorite subject to photograph. It is really cool and inspiring to me to find a person the same age as myself that shares the same passions and loves for nature and photography.

Benjamin is a lens-based artist born in Santiago, Chile. His approach to his work is in producing minimalistic surreal landscapes using photography. I am drawn to nature, landscape photography, and the beauty of capturing the world as it is. I appreciate his work, specifically what is shown as it captures the beauty and simplicity of Chile. His picture captures the dunes at different parts of the day. Seeing how time and light can alter your perspective of the same landscape is awing.

Pam Moxley is a self taught artist who had explored a wide range of photography including black and white and mixed media photography. A lot of her work is based on reflecting childhood, her own and her

children’s. I saw her artwork in a n airport and loved the vintage look of her photographs and seeing the camera in the photo. When looking into her more, I fell in love with her use of mixed media and color.

I really like this picture due to its simplicity. I really enjoy landscape style photography and the way the water reflects the bridges make a very simple piece take on a new life.

Seydou Keïta is a photographer from Mali who began work as a freelance portrait photographer but became well-known and sought after in his community (and later his country) for his artistic eye and ability to make his subjects look dignified and “with it” (he provided props like telephones and swanky clothing/accessories). I really enjoy the use of pattern in his work and I think the portraits capture a lot of character in the people he photographed despite being clearly posed.

René Maltête was a French photographer from the 1950's and 60's. His work is well known for shining a light on the common humor of everyday life. I think he is an incredible example of excellent visual story telling, I am often impressed with how much story I can get out of his photos without any words.

Joseph Koudelka was an award winning photographer who was born during WW2 and achived success photographing the Soviet invasion of Prauge in 1968. He started his career earlier in the 60s as a part time Photographer capturing the lives of the Roma People. I enjoy his portarit photography and the way he chooses odd and eccentric compositions to dramitisizwe the lives of the people in his photos. He chooses to photograph momnets of absurdity and has a taste for subverting modern things.

Horacio Coppola is an Argentine photographer well known for his urban documentary photos. Coppola was trained at the Bauhaus in Germany, where he experimented with light and shape. After fascism rose in Germany and Coppola fled, the city council of Buenos Aires hired him to document the process of urban modernization. This series, completed in the late 30s, utilized unconventional angles to capture the presence of the city. His photos highlighted social disparities in the inter-war period in Argentina.
