Tamanna & Saloni, interestingly alums of both, IPCW AND YIF, talked. They knew that as much as Covid was causing uncertainties for us, for some communities it was more than that. For them, Covid was giving way to another pandemic called hunger, unemployment and what not. They decided that something needed to be done.

They called up Tanya & Utsav.
The four together, talked to people who had the same urge to do something.

BEFORE THEY KNEW, there was already a strong team of young people willing to do whatever necessary.

To ensure that we choose this direction consciously, we are currently in a brainstorming process which can help us understand what does communities really need support in.

Meanwhile, sabKeSang will continue taking Individual cases and going in-depth with them, working on education and livelihood at a very preliminary level as a bridge between the beneficiary and the professionals who can help.

To aid the work of both SabKeSang and onground team, we have recently set up a policy team led by Anudeep & Shivam who with a team are researching policies which can help our efforts and make them more effective and sustainable.

Communication team will also be focusing on bringing value to our audience through informative and engaging content as it also share content on updates etc.

We envision SANG being a collective in the long run which
can ensure that each case we take up and each crisis we work through are dealt with collaboratively with stakeholders in the organisation. We support organisations working for a cause and we also ask for it whenever needed. We also connect two different organisations/individuals as needed!
Livelihood and skill development will be our broad focus when it comes to out own programs.
The version will evolve with insights from the brainstorming session as it finally concludes by first week of Augusst 2020.

Relief, SabKeSang and Rehabilitation projects will be the teams that work on ground operation, in different capacities.

Communications, Policy and fundraising act as amplifiers and support arms for the above mentioned areas while also having the freedom to create new initiatives and give direction to SANG.

HR and people will be a part of the fluid culture in which any volunteer who wants to learn how one area operates and gain experience in it, can move to that area. (how this happens will be defined soon)

{This is only the first draft that will most definitely evolve as we settle into being a volunteer led organisation from an initiative. ANY FEEDBACK/SUGGESTIONS/QUESTIONS CAN BE PUT INTO THE COMMENT BOX OF THIS NOTE}
