         <description><![CDATA[<div>Tips: When selecting resources, I ensured that I was using the targeted resources from the workshop planner that make explicit connections to the learning engagements. I also wanted to achieve a balance of resources; text, video, educator stories through the Sharing the PYP blog to promote engagement for all learners needs and preferences.&nbsp;</div><div>I referred to the IB website for supplementary resources. The PYP PD resource nano series provides resources focused on supporting and understanding key characteristics of the PYP, leading to school authorization. I chose to include these resources to build beginner knowledge for inexperienced IB teachers. The nano modules have interactive videos with teacher reflections and digital activities for the participant to engage with and self-direct their learning.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Also, I think it is important that we aim for depth over breadth in the amount of content we share with teachers.&nbsp;</div><div><br>Challenges: Curating a list of resources for a group of participants with various levels of experience, access and familiarity with the IB. The documents are very content-heavy and can be overwhelming if not unpacked strategically with participants. Eg, pulling specific areas of the text, instead of viewing the whole document. </div><div>My facilitator challenge is being mindful of how my own preferences for practicing IB can be problematic in workshop conversations. The Kath Murdoch Inquiry cycle is my way preferred way of structuring inquiry with students and teachers and IB does not align with a specific inquiry model. I want to ensure that I am only bring IB approved resources to the workshop to ensure the fidelity of the programme.  </div><div><br></div><div>I</div>]]></description>
