A few years ago I decided I really wanted to pursue the career path of becoming a therapist to help people with the mental problems they face on a daily basis. I want to do this because growing up I have always dealt with having a negative mindset layered with severe OCD. Throughout my life I have done a significant amount of research to try and help my OCD and depression and I feel like I have a lot of answers and information that has helped me, and I would like to share it with others to help them as well. It is something I am very passionate about. To become a therapist one day, my plan is to get a masters degree in psychology, or social work at Utah Valley University after I finish my time up at Salt Lake Community College.

I was born in South Jordan here in Utah on March 8th 2005. However I live in Herriman and have lived in Herriman all my life with my parents and my two sisters. I am the middle child as my sister was born almost two years before me, and my little sister was born three years after me. I have lived here so long that i could never imagine leaving here as I have fallen in love with the mountains and the people here.

I have grown up as a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am not a devout member, but I am still very happy to have grown up as a member. The Church has taught me a lot of great values on how to be a the best person I can possibly be. I have also grown up with a a big community that did fun stuff every week and also would take some times to provide service to others. I learned a lot of skills that I can apply to my life and therefore the church has made me become a better person that wants to provide and serve for those in need.

Saving/Investing

Growing up my dad was always trying to get me into investing and saving my money. It took a while, but I eventually I listened to him and now it has become a very big and important part of my life. My dad always told me about the importance of saving so one day I can hopefully become wealthy. Now everytime I want to go out and impulse buy, I remember what he says about saving. Together me and him will always talk about what I can do to save and make more money, and this has influenced a lot of my financial decisions in life. I also love talking with people about making money and investing. I think it is a great way to bond and I really enjoy forming a little team with my friends so we can help each other make money. It has made us closer and trust each other more than ever.

Adventure

I love hiking and adventuring in the unknown wilderness. It makes me feel at peace and grateful for the world. It inspires me to help do what we can to protect the earth from the deadly impacts of humans. Going out makes me proud to live on this planet and makes me eternally grateful for life. It is a big part of my lifestyle that I could see myself never getting rid of.
