Goodreads: Because Twain was one of the most well known story tellers in the west, he would have liked to know what was going on with current literature in order to keep his writing interesting and find new books to read. He learned from other writers which made his writing exemplary throughout the country, specifically the west.
Quizlet: Twain's father died when he was 11, forcing him to stop his education and begin working to support his many siblings. This means that his education was limited, so he had to study and learn on quizlet, learning new terms and definitions because he yearned to become a writer.
JobAware: Twain worked many jobs such as an apprentice printer shortly after his father's death which paid him and gave him a food ration. Later he earned a job as a printer and became a writer at his brother's small newspaper company. Twain needed money to support his family and this app would help him find employment easily.

Twain's wallpaper would be a picture of his house in Hannibal, his home town. His town meant very much to Twain and was where his writing career started. Many of his stories were inspired by events that took place in his hometown and this house was where he grew up and started to have the dream of becoming a storyteller and writer. This background would be sentimental and remind Hannibal of memories from his boyhood.

Twain would have this picture on his phone of his wife and himself because she was the mother of his 4 children, 3 daughters and one son. “What would men be without women? Scarce, sir...mighty scarce.” Twain says, which also shows how much Twain must have loved his wife and how beneficial she was to his life, making his life better with a family.

This picture would be on Mark Twain's phone because he was a writer who shaped how writing is today, and this is one of the most influential pieces that he wrote, and most well known. Twain says “The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who cannot read.” and it relates to this picture because its telling how important that Twain believed reading and writing was in everyday life.

Twain would have this picture of the typewriter on his phone because of his fascination with it. He used a typist for his later books but did use the typewriter and give it up 2 times, both times returning to it. He preferred writing his books himself rather than typing. He was the first writer to apply the typewriter to make a book or manuscript. This gave others the idea of typing their literature and influenced the country.

My Way by Frank Sinatra:
"'I've lived a life that's full
I've traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this
I did it my way"
This song depicts Mark Twain because he showed his beliefs and wrote about his experiences through different stories in his books. He influenced the country greatly and prompted people to become writers, building his position as one of the most well known writers of all time.
In the Air Tonight by Phil Collins:
"And I can feel it coming in the air tonight
Well I've been waiting for this moment for all my life,"
This song can relate to Twain because when he finally was able to write for his brother's newspaper company, his opportunity finally came and it only opened more doors from there. This ultimately led to him becoming the amazing writer that everyone knows today.
Dreams by Fleetwood Mac:
"Remembering what you had
And what you lost, and what you had, and what you lost"
This song can relate to Twain's life because when he lost his father everything went downhill, which shaped him to be the person that he became. What Twain lost when his father passed, a good education, and a normal childhood, which made him a hard worker and good writer to write about all of his experiences from the past.

This string of text messages depicts the relationship between Twain/Clements and his wife olivia. Twain believed that the country needed men and women and that without one or the other the world wouldn’t function properly, and had opinions that were much more equalizing than many tohers thought’s in that time period.
