The lesson I learnt from the short film is that you shouldn't judge someone before you see their side. In the movie the dog is mad at the bird for trying to steal its food but the bird’s side is that she needs to feed her babies, when the dog sees that she needs the food she gives it to her. The same goes with people, sometimes we judge people only based on our side of the story before we even listen to theirs.

This reflects our life: kindness has a ripple effect. When you do something good, it comes back to you, and even spreads to other people. From this, we can learn that choosing the good will always be a right decision, and it will probably help others do the same. In the bottom line, when we are kind, we inspire people to be kind as well.

One of the lessons the movie teaches us about is how to judge a situation from another person's point of view, for example, Joy didn't want to let the bird get the bait because her owner needed it aswell, but as soon as Joy saw the bird needed it for the 3 babies she gave the bait to the bird, therefore until she understood the situation from the bird's point of view, she was on her owner's side, but then she understood the bird needed it more than her owner. In conclusion I feel like it's a very important skill to learn in order to solve arguments and debates before judging them too early.

The Story Joy & Heron is a short film that has 3 lessons about understanding the other. I learned from this film that perspective can alter the problem/argument, and helps you understand the other’s point of view and better help both of you. This film better helped me understand that while people can do bad things it can be for a better cause, while it is still wrong it helps you understand their motivation and reasoning.

In this film the fisherman shushes Joy because her barking and growling can scare away fish but what he didn’t know that she was barking to scare away the Heron and when he did see why she was barking he gave her a pat on her head, this thing also happens when Joy is happy for scaring away the Heron but then she sees the Heron’s hungry babies and gives the Heron a lot of worms to feed its baby and in return the Heron gave them a lot of fish which shows that if you do good things good things will happen to you.

Sometimes one kind thing you do can cause someone else to want to pass it on to others and then it continues this lesson also connects with the lesson that “kindness always comes around” because at some point the person who someone will be kind to will be you. So one little kind thing you do can cause a ripple effect of other kind deeds.

In the film, The Heron tries to steal the bait of the fisherman. Joy, the fisherman’s dog, barks at the Heron without knowing The Heron is trying to get food for her hungry children, and it flies away. You shouldn’t just jump to conclusions, you should understand why the act had been done before you judge it or do something against it, maybe there is a good reason for the act to be done.

This story has many ways to perceive the situation in many different ways. For instance, the situation was accurately perceived by Joy the dog. By helping the bird feed her children, she may have chosen to care less as well, which would have changed the course of the story entirely. Your thinking and perspective regarding everything can alter if you focus on the big picture rather than a few key details, which may cause you to see the issue completely differently.

The short movie teaches a few important lessons about kindness, judging people and changing the situation with a different look at it. I chose to speak about the ripple effect of kindness, as shown in the short movie. The dog in the movie seeks attention from its owner, so it protects its owner’s things. The dog acts in kindness and gets a pet from its owner, but then it finds out that what it did was a mistake. It sees a way to fix what it did and it follows the path of it.

Then, the karma "hits him back". It gets fish in return and gets a substantial loving pet from its owner. This shows that what you do- comes back in the same way you did it, like a ripple.
I find it beautiful and I feel like I got something very precious from a deep but a childish movie.

I think it’s very important not to jump to conclusions before you know the whole story. Like in the short film ,were Joy was fighting the Heron for several times from taking the fish bates away since she didn’t understand what was the reason of the Heron ,but as soon as Joy saw that the Heron gave fish her kids, she understood the whole picture and rushed to help her. Although Joy expected his owner to be mad with him, his thoughts changed really quickly as he saw the Heron holding a bunch of fish in his bill. The Heron gave Joy all of the fish and not only Joy was happy but also her owner. My opinion is that as soon as Joy decided to make this act of kindness it found a way to come straight back to her. At the end of the story everybody was happy and everything came out great but it wouldn't have if joy would decide to just ignore the Heron situation.

You can never know what a person is experiencing. For example, in the short movie Joy was very mad at Heron for taking the fisherman’s bait but after realizing that Heron was only trying to feed his kids so they won’t starve he felt very bad for Heron. In conclusion joy felt bad for judging Heron before getting to know him.

From the video, I learned that I must seek to understand first. Sometimes we don't see the whole picture, we react before we know all the details. Often this generates misunderstandings and in the end, people get hurt. Those incidents can easily be avoided. We just need to try and understand the full picture because when you see the entire situation your perspective changes and you react differently then if you wouldn't have.

The lesson I have learned from the story "Joy and Heron" is that kindness has a ripple effect. The story shows Joy being angry because Heron was trying to take her owner's warm. Firstly, she was angry, but eventually, when Joy saw, that Heron was just trying to feed her babies, Joy was trying to give Heron some more warms and by respond Heron gave her more fish which Joy's owner wanted. We can see that when Joy was doing a good did, Heron by respond has done a good did for Joy too and therefore we can learn that kindness has a ripple effect.

The lesson that I learned from the short story is that by changing the way you look at a situation all of the story can change. For example, the first time that the heron tried to steal the worms Joy barked towards the heron, but after Joy realized that the heron only wants to feed her children, she changed the way she looked at the situation, and helped the heron. If she didn't realized that the heron only wants to feed her kids she would have looked at the situation a lot different.

One of the lessons that I learned from the story is that every action has a reason and that you can't judge someone based of their actions. The short film helped me understand that because heron was taking worms out of the bucket, and it made Joy angry but what Joy didn't know is that the heron just wanted to feed her babies.

This short film presents us with many life lessons, the lesson I chose was the one where the heron tried to take the worms and Joy didn’t let him take them until he found out about the herons three hungry babies. That lesson taught me not to jump to conclusions until I know the whole story because you never know someone's reasons and intentions torsos what they are doing, when you see the whole story you cooled change your mind about things.

The movie has teached me an important lesson, the lesoon was that you should never judge a book by its cover-some people do wrong or messed up things aand we should know that sometimes there is an important reason for that and they dindn't mean to do .the may did it to prevent a worse thing.font jidge them if you domt know the full story. it was expressed in the movie when we saw that the heron had stole the food to help his children.

In the short movie we see that Joy saw how the herein wasn’t able to feed her children with what she had provided them, so Joy decided to offer her owners bait as food for them, as thanks the herein gave Joy and her owner lots of fish. The kindness and joy of seeing someone thankful for the things you had brought them as a gift and them feeling the need of giving something to you back is kindness.
