Hey guys. Realised I never posted it on here. Have done some research into the 4 categories under "sport and recreation" and have decided to focus on the Sports & Physical Recreation Clubs & Sports Professionals aspect of it. I think it is safe to say that Australia has a huge national sporting identity and whilst this may not be the most profitable out of the options (am still finalising numbers from yearly reports), it would definitely distinguish us from so many "other" investors.

this link from the ABS defines the class we are talking about. would be good to clarify this for our audience from the beginning so that they know what we are talking about.

My research focusses mainly around the benefits of participation in sport through organised clubs, as well as high performance sponsorship (if i have enough time). SHI JIE SONG, could you please include an explanation of this in your introduction? That way everyone knows what we are talking about exactly :)

Sports have been an essential part of Australian
culture. It might be due to the spirit of adventure and personal
health awareness that they have naturally. Males tend to do regular sports for their
well-proportion body, while females regard sports and physical recreation as a good
way to keep their body in shape. Also, sports help to release the working
stress and improve the relationship among families or friends.

Structure

In fact, more than about 60% of Australian adults took
part in sport and physical recreation at least once for the periods of 2013-14
(Australian Bureau of Statistics 2015). With the increasing demand of the
sports, the professional sporting industry is stimulating. As a result, physical
recreation clubs can be seen in some places of Australia.Basically, advertising and government or large management bodies
provide professional sporting clubs with financial supports. Those stakeholders
such as professional athletes, managers, coaches and employees are expected to
impose joint effort to the wide range of professional activities.

Services

To be specific, sports and physical recreation clubs
and sports professionals provides a number of various facilities and
entertainment that the participants can engage in a range of individual sports
such as basketball, football and golf operation. And it offers a variety of
career opportunities for people who are interested in a particular sport, or
with a passion for the community, sporting and recreational clubs. What’s more,
the sector gives the chance which consists of outgoing, sporty Australians, and
with some of the remarkable athletes and potential sports people as target
audience (My future, n.d.).
