1. Most volcanoes and earthquakes are found on the boundires of the tectonic plates
2. Tectonic plates are classed as the crust of the earth it is estimated that the crust is from 5km - 70km
3. There are two types of crust the oceanic crust and the continental crust. The oceanic crust is found underneath the ocean it is more dense than the continental crust
4. The tectonic plates are constantly moving under the earth
5. Heat from the core causes convection currents in the mantle. These currents slowly move the crust around. In some places the crust is destroyed.

1. There are many different styles of volcanoes and they all erupt differently because of their shape or their size
2. The economic effects of a volcano can be severe people can love their jobs and countries but then also lose their homes and trans[ort that they may have owned.
3. There are many active and non active volcanoes located around the globe
4. There are different vents and craters that are in a volcano vents are where the lava comes out of the volcan
5. The crater iis the bowl shaped basin in the top of the volcano.

1. Earthquakes are rocks being under stress by the movement of the tectonic plates creating enough force to push them away from each other
2. Earthquakes in the past were measured using a rictoscale but they changed their methods and created the magnitude scale
3. The magnitude scale measures the size of the seismic waves during the earthquake

4. Earthquakes cause devostation to the country it affects and there is a scale that measures this. The Mercalli Scale measures the amount of destruction tht the earthquake will cause.
5. The Mercalli Scale measures the amount of destruction will be caused by locating how close the nearest population is (If it is closer to the epicenter than it will be worse).
