By clicking on a post it will open up along the screen and this allows you to read the post properly. If you use the right and left arrows it allows you to read different posts too. As you can see the image appears at the top and the writing appears in a dark grey box.

There are also shortcuts that you can use to make your writing all different styles. The things in the blue oval are the shortcuts that you used on the keypad, and the writing on the left shows you what the shortcut does to the writing.

This is your URL for your padlet, it is found at the top of the page, and you can copy it then paste it where ever you want.

Webcam

This function allows padlet to connect straight to your webcam so you can immediately take and image an upload it to your wall, all you have to do is press 'allow' and your camera will appear.

URL & Video

This image shows when you click the link button what appears. The blue box shows where you can paste a URL of an image, video or of another webpage to upload it to your padlet wall.

This image shows how you can upload an image to your padlet wall. Once you have made a box you click the line with the arrow pointing up and this box will appear. It allows you to drag a file in or to upload one from your drive.

Slideshow

Adding a slideshow is done the same way as adding an image to your padlet, when click to edit your box 3 icons will appear when you click the middle one a bar will appear.

Sharing URL

You wall has a unique URL that you can share with other people and embed on other people's walls.

Editing & moderating

By going to the modify your wall button to the right of your padlet and then privacy settings it allows you to add people to be able to view your wall. You can then chose what they are able to do on your wall, if you chose 'Can Write' then the other person is able to edit their posts that are on your wall and if you chose 'Can Moderate' then the other person can edit and write on your wall.

Resizing

To resize a box or an image on your padlet wall, you need to have your layout on the free form setting, as this is the only setting that allows you resize your posts. This is the cursor that appears when you want to resize your image. By dragging the cursor in which ever direction you want it allows you to resize.

To drag a post and place it somewhere else all you have to do is hold the mouse down on the box that you want to move, and then a little arrow will appear that allows you to move a box where ever you want to put it. Below is the image of what the curser looks like that allows you to move your posts around your wall.

Adding rich text

To add rich text all you have to do is select the area of text you want to change and then a bar will come up which allowed you to change the effects of the writing.

Writing, adding a post, adding multimedia, pictures & videos

Once you have created your wall you are going to want to style writing on it and adding images. This is done by simply double clicking the background. A white box will then appear which allows you to add a title and then there is a text box for you to write in or add a link, upload an image or take a photo straight from the webcam of your computer. The red boxes represent the background this is where you double tap for a box to be created. The blue is the box that is created, there is a space for a title - which appears in red bold - and a space for you to write where it says 'Write something...'. The orange box are the buttons which allow you to upload a URL, add an image, or take an image straight from the webcam.

Reading

To read someones padlet, you would search for their blog or enter their own URL or if you have already been on it then it will be on your recently viewed part of your padlet. By clicking what padlet you wanted to view it would take you to their wall where you could view the whole wall.

By clicking this tab it opens up a menu with lots of different options. These options allow you to add a title or a description to your padlet, change the wallpaper with some already being given to you or you can upload your own, the layout which allows you to have a freeform layout or a stream, the privacy tab lets you change whether the public can view your padlet or if it's private, it also allows you to add people by e-mail who can administer your wall. You can also make yourself a URL under the address tab.

Modifying your Wall

To modify your padlet wall all you have to do is click the modifying tab on the right of the screen.

Creating a Wall

Creating a wall on your Padlet account is easy: all you have to do is sign into your account and then it will take you straight to your home screen. From there you will see an option to create a new wall, click it and then a new wall will open immediately, to which you can place whatever you like.

You then need to click on that box so you can browse your files and find your powerpoint you want to upload to padlet. Once you have found it just click okay then it will be on your wall.

To then view your powerpoint properly all you have to do is click on it, then it shall appear bigger and you can browse through the slides.
