I just finished reading The Jumbies by Tracey Baptiste. There was a lot of magic and a little mystery. Not my favorite book of all time but I enjoyed finding out what happened to the main character, Corine.

This is a good book to read. I just finished it. It is about a middle school boy named Greg who is on his summer break and finds himself in competition with a neighbor across the street. His summer is filled with video games, struggles with his parents, and weird times with his friends. It is very entertaining and you will love it.

I recommend this book by Pam Muñoz Ryan called Esperanza Rising. I read this book 3 times and I have loved reading it each time. It's about a girl named Esperanza who was spoiled and didn't know the hard parts of life. Due to the events of her father dying and their house catching on fire, she and her mother have to move to America during the Great Depression. In America, she is sent to a homeless camp, but she is not used to a homeless lifestyle. Unable to fit in and trying to save her mother from sickness, Esperanza has to find a way to get used to her life at camp and find hope even in a hard situation.

The Kane Chronicles are a really good series of books by the author Rick Riordan. The books are about Egyptian mythology and the Egyptian gods. It is about two kids who had normal lives but their father was a magician of Egypt. The kids get thrown into the vast plain of magic and they fight evil trying to save the world with other people who practice the way of the so-called "gods". There are two other books about the kids trying to save the world. One was them trying to stop Set, the god of destruction, and in the other book, they stop a really, really big snake threatened to destroy the world. In the end, they stop all the evil (for now) and they try to live normal lives, but they will always have the Egyptian mythology in them. There is lots of other drama and excitement that make the books well worth reading.

A good book that you should add to the library is Brian's Winter. It's a pretty good novel about a boy who survives a plane crash and then faces a frigid winter in the Canadian wilderness with only the limited resources he has. I really enjoyed it and think you should read it too!

You need to checkout this book, it is amazing! The back of the book reads, "In this Newbery Medal–winning middle grade novel in verse, twelve-year-old twins and basketball stars Josh and Jordan Bell must learn to deal with problems on and off the court as they navigate homework, first crushes, family and, of course, basketball." I liked it because it had action and drama combined in a way that helped me want to keep reading it. I think you would like it too.

The Wild Robot Escapes is a sequel to the book, "The Wild Robot". I would really recommend reading the first book because the two books build on each other.

The Wild Robot Escapes is a book about a robot named Roz that is delivered to take care of the farm. The robot befriends the animals on the farm and informs them of her plans to escape. She realizes that the only way she could do so is to gain the trust of the farmer's two children, Jaya and Jad.

Once she gains their trust, they agree to help Roz. Then, the day comes, and the robot says its last goodbyes to her friends.

Upon her journey, she encounters problems such as hiding from RECOs, vicious wolves, and flat open land. But, things take a turn for the worse as the RECOs spot her and attempt to capture her. Finally, her journey comes to an end and she is captured and greeted by her maker, Dr. Molovo, and explains why she attempted to escape.

In the end, Roz's story ends up touching the doctor's heart and decides to let her return to her home.

This really is a great book!

Wings Of Fire is a really good dragon series by Tui T. Sutherland. There are 8 dragon tribes: The Sea Wings, The Ice Wings, The Mud Wings, The Sky Wings, The Sand Wings, The Rain Wings, and The Night Wings which are my favorite due to the looks. There were tribes who liked each other and tribes who don't like each other. Some tribes go to war with each other for the hate they have for each other. The Night Wings are the rebellious tribe that fights for rebellious acts. They're the main characters who are from different tribes that are friends which the other tribes are disappointed and/or confused. They are trying to make a truce with the other tribe and be friendly again to each other like they did back then but, The Night Wings do not want that so they try to get in the way of their plans.

I liked this book because I love dragons and the action kept me wanting to keep reading.

I have read this book soo many times after I found it on a book website and I absolutley love it!! I definetly reccomend this book because it´s sweet and simple. It´s basically about a carrot cake that has gone missing. The police start looking for it all over town. They investigate a few animals, just to find out the culprit was right under their noses. The unexpected ending will keep you reading to the very end.

La Oruga Muy Hambrienta is a great book for those who are beginning Spanish. It has simple words that you could use in day-to-day conversations. It also teaches how to say the days of the week, all numbers up to 6, and foods in Spanish and provides great visuals. If you have a kid and you want to teach them Spanish, or if you want to learn yourself this is a great book to use.

The Hardy Boys series by Franklin W Dixon is one of my favorite series. The Hardy Boys series is about two brothers who follow in their father's footsteps to become detectives. The books are full of mystery and suspense that will often make you want to finish the whole book in one day. I definitely recommend these books to anyone that likes mysteries.

If you are looking for an action book series this is an amazing book to start with. It is about 12 districts that have to be in a raffle until they turn the age of eighteen. Each year they pull two names out of the bucket from each district. After they have twenty-four tributes they put them in the arena, where they fight to the death. The winner that goes home gets money and a house. But this time the end is different and isn't the end, it's only the beginning.

The Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul is the ninth book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Series. It is about the typical life of a middle schooler, Greg Heffley. In this particular book, Greg's family decides to go on a vacation trip, which turns out to be a disaster. I liked this book because it was a little funny and stupid because of how they acted and because the book is just fun to read.

The Hate U Give is an exquisitely written book. This book is about a teenage girl named Starr who has to battle racism, police brutality, and activism after seeing her African American friend murdered by a police officer. Shortly after the book was published, it was addapted into a movie. Starr is played by amandla Stenberg. I 10/10 recomend this book to anyone who loves reading.

A mysterious person comes and puts them through more tests where they eventually end up in a weird house. Here they meet a mysterious man, Mr. Benidect. This is a good book that i finished last year in 6th grade. It is about a boy, Brian, flying to visit his dad in northern Canada. The plane has a faliure which makes it crash into a lake. Brian has to survive in the wilerness by himself. It is a hard challenge he has to face. Read the book yourself to find out if he manages to over comes and survive.

While in 5th grade I finished reading "Old Yeller" by Fred Gipson. I would really recommend reading this book. It is an amazing book and will probably make you cry afterward. It is about a kid named Travis who grows an unforgettable bond with a stray dog. He grows to love a stray yellow dog while helping his mother and younger brother since his dad is away on a cattle drive. The stray dog named Old Yeller soon causes damage in one of their fields, Travis tries to drive him away. However, Travis and Katie both warm to Old Yeller when he saves Arliss from a bear attack. As Travis and the brave and faithful dog grow closer, concern grows about an outbreak of rabies. When they realize Old Yeller has rabies, to stop the spreading of it Travis has to put him down.

This book if you haven't heard of it yet is a great oldy but goody historical novel. The voabulary is a little strong but it presents a great messege about ressurection and second chances. It takes place in 1859 France and London. It is filled with suspencful action, spies, and a revolution. I liked it because it's a change of pace from the usual thing I read and if you are up to it you will enjoy it.

The Hunger Games book is a chain of emotions throughout the series. The first book is about Katness, a little girl who saved her sister by going into the hunger games herself. The hunger games are a series of corrupt games where the government/capital forces 2 people from each district to participate. The games are like a battle royale where participants have to fight to the death to be the last person standing. if you win you get a lot of money and a nice free house.
I liked this book because it sparked my interest right off the bat. The complicated plot with its many twists kept me wanting to read more. I think everyone should read it.

Ghost is the first book in a track series. It follows the life of Castle Cranshaw (AKA Ghost) through his 7th-grade year. During this year, he gets into problems at school and at home, and even though it seems all is lost he finds a way through. I really like this book because it emphasizes the fact that no problem cannot be overcome and that hard work pays off. I suggest you read this book. It really gives you a different view of the world and makes you grateful for everything you have.

For people of all ages this book will touch the heart of all readers. This book starts with a washed up robot, who is like any regular robot but becomes more human like as she explores the vast nature. Her code becomes more sentient as she hellps the island. I won' t spoil anything else since I think you really should read this book. The reason I am more favorful to this book is because the main charactor changes over time. Most characters in a fiction are already different, having more advantage than others. But this MC is just any robot in the story, its the things in the story that change her overtime.

The Land of Stories tells the story of two siblings who go inside a book of fairytales they received from their grandmother after having had problems at home. They later go on an adventure to find objects from each fairytale to try and get back home. However, they face trouble from other people who also need the objects. I like the book because it shows the main characters going through their adolescence, becoming more mature, and finding peace after their father passed away.

Louisiana's Way Home is a wonderful book about finding out who you are and deciding who you want to be. Louisiana gets woken up in the middle of the night by her grandmother. Though, this was nothing new to her since her grandmother has many middle-of-the-night ideas. Her grandmother hurries her into the car in order to leave Florida. Unaware of what identity-questioning adventures her family curse will unfold, Lousiana admires the starry night sky whizzing past the car window. I read Louisiana's Way Home about a year ago,and I still cry every time I reread it.

What is "The Absolutely True Diary" of a part-time Indian? It is the best book ever! This book is the first book that I ever thought was remotely interesting. If you're trying to find a book full of sarcasm and adult jokes you should definitely consider this book. However, it isn't all for the faint of heart.The harsh racist remarks and topics in this book can be a little rough sometimes because our main character is from a Indian reservation. In this book you get to go through the hardships of girls,sports racism,and living miles away from your school all while your family faces poverty. I'd rate this book a 10/10 but the only way for you to know if you enjoy it is for you read it yourself.

Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls is an excellent book to read. My teacher in 5th grade read this book to us and we really enjoyed it so much. This great book is about the adventurous story of a young boy and his dream for his own red-bone hound hunting dogs. Set in the Ozark Mountains during the Great Depression, Billy Coleman works hard and saves his earnings for 2 years to achieve his dream of buying two coonhound pups. I really recommend this book 10/10 for you to read.

She is a tough cookie but needs help from her friends to find her own kind who might not even exist. If you think you might be interested in this book, you can locate it at the library. This book is a part of a series, so if you're a fast reader this could last you a good amount of time. It's one of my favorite series!

Belly Up is a mystery novel by Stuart Gibbs where a 12yr old boy named Teddy Fitzroy is trying to find the culprit of the murder of Funjungle Zoo's mascot, Henry. This is the first book of the Funjungle series all of which follow Teddy through the zoo solving mysteries on the way. All while dealing with middle school at the same time. It is a great book filled with problem-solving and action that will get your heart going. I really liked animals and going to the zoo during the time that I was reading it, so I found it particularly interesting. I thought it was a great book and I really enjoyed reading it, as well as all the other books in this series.

I really enjoyed this book and I'm sure you would too. This book is for all ages and really lets your mind free as you imagine all kinds of fictional creatures. This book is about a family that moves to a new neighborhood where mystical creatures were unleashed because the main character tried to read a book and accidentally let creatures that have never been seen before out. Now they have to stop them from possibly murdering their entire family or maybe the whole world.
I liked this book because the creatures were really creative. If you like fantasy you will enjoy this book too.

The Series of Unfortunate Events is an unique book. It is about three kids who lost their parents in a horrible fire.They are sent to their bankers home, then to a horrible place with a "friend". They move again and find them self in a boat, then on a mill and then in an hospital. It's not just about orfains moving from home to home. When their parents died they got an enormous fortune. Count Olaf which gets introduced in the first book, he is after their fortune. He even goes as far as trying to marry one of the siblings and even killing the kids guardians. Once they reach a mounton top, a mill, a boat house, the hospital, and the hotel. There is something always in their way. Find out.
