         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Aleut tribe built their houses partially underground. These houses, called barabaras. They were shared by severeal families. Whale bones supported the walls and the roof, which were made of earth and straw. A smoke hole in the roof also served as an entrance. People slid down a pole from the rooftop the floor.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The Aleut and other Arctic tribes lived in a vast and harsh land. Some of it was covered with ice all year long. They hunted the same types of marine animals. The Aleut tribe wore the same style of clothes as other Alaskan tribes.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The Aleut tribe was located on the Aleutian Islands. The exact location of the Aleutian island is </div><h1>54°09'03.0"N 165°49'08.1"W.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The Aleut tribe wore boots and mitts made from animals skins and furs from sea lions. Men and women in the Aleut tribe wore long tunics often accompanied by loose pants. In the winter, the Aleut wore fur-lined,  hooded coats called Fur Parkas.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The Aleut's diet are fish products and Shellfish. These were supplemented by the meat obtained from sea animals such as the seal, whale, and sea lions. Some example of of shellfish that they ate are crap, shrimp, mussels , and clams. Food was also obtained from birds like ducks, cormorants, emperor geese, albatross, and puffins.
