Ethan did much better relating to true human emotion as he walks through a nicely lit Blockbuster while weary and pondering his own death. It makes an audience feel Gloomy, but more sympathetic to Hamlet´s current situation.

In my opinion I feel like Mel did it best there was more feelings put into the act and it made it more dramatic and depressing in the act it was more of an active tone.

In my opinion Mel's was better because the setting he is in sets the tone alone with it being dark and silent. Then the way he would emphasize and keep an active tone throughout the whole thing.

Mel Gibsons was the more effective because of the setting and the way he talked was so monotone he never raised his voice or never was super quiet. The setting had a big role in it too he was surrounded by dead people and he wanted to kill him self.

I believe Ethan Hawke did it better because he always kept a straight face and had most of the characteristics of a person who would want to kill themselves. The music also played a big part because it makes the scene more tense. He was also walking down the action aisle which makes it so like he has to make a decision.

Mel Gibson was more effective, the setting was nicely selected. and the way he talks to the audience he was surrounded by death.

In my opinion, Ethan did it better. He has no will to live but, at the same time he's trying to wait it out. The whole blockbuster is the equivalent of the positive side of living. It's like an internal battle.

Personally, I think that Ethan Hawke did a far better job than Mel Gibson. I think this because Ethan Hawkes facial expressions, body language, word choice and tone were far better at portraying the tone of the scene rather than Mel Gibsons.

I think Ethan Hawke did, he showed that he was really depressed. His facial expressions were really good and he convinced me that he actually wants to commit suicide.
