In meetings they often have an interpreter .</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>The punctualities at a  japanese business meetings is to arrive on time, stick to commitments, prepare for a meeting, quality before profit, and “no problem” syndrome( when given an idea, respond in a way that assures to the iapanese member that you thought abot the idea before you agreed).</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>The best time to arrange a meeting in Japan is early morning or late afternoon. Midday is not so good, because people are usually busy during the day. Business hours in Japan are from 9:00 to 17:00.</li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><strong>Speach: </strong>Many japanese are too polite to let you know when they do not fully understand. When speaking English in a business meeting, keep what you say simple and straightforward. If there’s an interpreter speak in short burst  so it can be easily translated. Avoid using idioms and don’t ask rhetorical questions.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li><strong>High context vs Low context:</strong> In Japanese  culture  communicate on the high context leve and western culture communicate in low context. Some terms can be misinterpreted. It is recommended to get on the phone and talk or meet in person to ask politely, and figure it out.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li><strong>Punctual:</strong> Being on time is a big deal in Japanese culture. </li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li><strong>Silence:</strong>In times of stress,difficulty or conflict during a meeting, Japanese will often resort to silence in order to release the tension in the room. </li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li><strong>Body Language</strong>: Japanese body language is very minimal, making it difficult for the untrained observer to read. </li></ul>]]></description>

Japanese companies tend to focus on managing situations to avoid conflict and crisis in the work environment. </li><li><strong>Loyalty: </strong>Japanese are extremely loyal to their employers. They depend on each other, as a result the country and the companies in the country are very successful nationally.</li><li><strong>Staffing: </strong>When it comes to recruiting, Japanese companies are r more likely to hire a relative or close friend then someone they do not know well or have not built a relationship with</li><li>.<strong>Competition: </strong>Striving for perfection is important in the Japanese culture. It’s all about being better. </li><li><strong>Training &amp; Development: </strong>The Japanese are taught first hand what to expect in a workforce. </li><li><strong>Time: </strong> Employees are expected to give over 100% everyday.</li></ul>]]></description>
