The main differences on this platform are a Recommendations and Review section, as well as a shop where people can buy special merchandise from the event. The R&R is useful not only during the event, but after because people considering going to watch professional golf next year can read reviews and get insights on what attractions are better on site, where to find good food, and even where to sit! Majority of the reviews are pleasant and speak about the prestigious island green 17th hole. This year they posted pictures of the course being re-seeded months before the event and progressively showed how green TPC Sawgrass became for this early in the season. Instagram has become very popular amongst our generation and is a quick way to learn about what is going on in the sports world, from injury updates, to weather and broadcasting times. Video stories have become a major feature as well. The Players Championship specifically had a Foodie story button to check out what food items were tasty and popular among the spectators. Certain bloggers on ladbrokes will list top contenders to win the tournament based on their statistical history at TPC Sawgrass, recent playing coming into the tournament, and who is healthiest and most prepared. Injury and weather updates were also helpful as social media analysts got insight from players through interviews and on-scene observations. Fans are also able to reply, like, and retweet favorable content from the tournament. Twitter has become an important source for scoring updates in our generation and will continue to thrive in the  professional sports world. The highlight golf shots were put into a few minute video each day and posted hours after the round. Specific player highlight videos are also posted later on by the PGA tour that show shot-by-shot coverage from the round; these are usually of the leader or a notable player such as Tiger Woods or Rory McIlroy whom was in contention the entire tournament. The PGA Tour posted live updates of the leader board throughout the tournament, from Thursday to Friday. This was available on Google as the first selection that popped up when someone typed in 'The Players Championship.' This social media application is incredible as I was able to follow Tiger Woods shot by shot through detailed updates. These included overviews of the hole, line of where the ball went, descriptions of how he hit the ball, any interference's with fans, course or weather conditions, and live scoring with a leader board. This was all tracked right through the simple update of my  phone! They quoted, "Experience the PGA TOUR like never before on your Android device with the official PGA TOUR App. Redesigned from the ground up with great new features and functionality and available for free from the PGA TOUR."
