Clownfish

Clownfish are lovely creatures. The scientific name is Amphiprioninae. They are considered a fish because it has gills. Clownfish can live up to 3 to 5 years in a tank &  -6 to 10 years in the wild. They are 4.3 inch.(11 centermeanters). They also  have  two fins on each side,it has a small tain, and have white stripes, black stripes,covered in orange. Remarkably, their family is a Pomacentridae.

Clownfish live in the  Pacific Ocean and the Indian ocean. This can be in a harbor. They live near coral. Clownfish are considered carnivores, because they eat leftover fish. Amazingly, they eat every 3 days.

These animals have many adaptationstons  help them survive. One of the adaptations is that they are poisonous because they can protect themselves. Another adaptation is it’s tail to get itself out of tentacles and anemones. Lastly, they move very quickly to make dark movements.

All in all clownfish are amazing creatures that have many fascinating features and adaptations.
