she said She didn't grow up with technology and she says that we have it harder than they did back then. back then when you broke up with someone you didn't have to see them on social media or be able to track them, there weren't as many options, all you had was the house phone.

She said that people have lost manners over the years, when she was young they really respected their elders and now she is so surprised as to why kids think that can treat adults the way we do. She is still surprised when me and my mom get into arguments and I fight back. She always talks about how different things are now and how she could never do that with her mom.

when I asked her what music was memorable for her she said that elvis brought her back to her early 20's and made her feel young again.

A big story that was very very impactful for my grandma was World War ll, she was three when she had to leave Lithuania and go to Germany and then England. She said they called them refugees. This all happened in 1944, she said that her mom had to shave her head because they couldn't wash it very often and they were scared of lice.
