In my city/community, a place/area I would go on a meaningful Empathy Walk is somewhere where it is peaceful and quiet. Most likely, areas that have beautiful nature scenery. Oftentimes, it is better to think more clearly when we are in a calm state. We have this chance to clearly look around us, having the time to absorb everything that surrounds us. We get to have awareness of our surroundings, while also gaining a sense of gratitude for what we already have.

Garcia 10E AN

I would say that it is best to go to a national area/place. Being able to walk and look at the history of our country makes feel the emotions within these old buildings and unmoving statues. You can see and feel the life they have led. I believe that you can do the same. Taking in everything and doing your best in life. Appreciate what you have, prepare for the future, and be the person who you want to be to make the world a better place.

-Paul Desiongco, 10-Onyx

For me, the best way to truly practice empathy is to go to the slums of the Philippines or even the rural areas. You will see the workers, and the other people who live their life in joy and in struggle. I personally converse with even the janitors, barbers, or other people who are not considered very noble in this country. This is simply because I always want to know what happens on the other side. I want to know their life story because I never want to stop learning. Everyone has a story to tell, it's just that most people aren't asked.

Furthermore, places that have a lot of culture or distinct traditions may be a good practice for the empathy walk. The city we live in is a comfort zone for most people, and it is precisely why we should step out of it slowly so we can unravel what else is left of this world.

- Pedro, Isaac D.

It would be fantastic if we could practice the empathy walk in every situation. This walk has the potential to help us develop greater empathy for other people. We can gain a better understanding of another person's point of view by participating in the empathy walk, which allows us to experience what it is like to be in their shoes.

Actually just somewhere, where you could be with yourself and no distractions so you could think or reflect, for me I could be with myself at a place we go for vacations maybe like the beach or just sitting down and giving time for yourself or maybe at night though it's kinda dangerous but I could think better on times like that.

At home, in the corners of your room, dillydallying with nothing but imaginative thoughts in mind. But how about do this in a place where there aren't any corners, such as outside, it wouldn't hurt to speak to someone whom you don't know now do you? Relationships can come from anywhere, but positive relationships require empathy as one of it's most important parts to be constructed.
AN 10-RUBY Pineda, S
