1. This newspaper's formatting so far is probably my favorite, and the most simplistic. Organized and sectioned off perfectly.
2. You could have added a rustic background and the empty spaces on the bottom of each article should have been filled in.

I like documents a lot, it's easy on the eyes. But the graph at the end is lonely. It's almost a bit boring. And the chart is going down not up, so it's wrong anyways. No offense. I like the simplicity though.

1.) I really like the formatting of the newspaper. It's very neat and organized and gives a clean and finished feeling.
2.) I don't really think there's anything to improve on but if I have to say one, then I suggest maybe adding a bit more images for the viewers to look at. Another thing is that not all of the images were black and white.
3.) I really like the titles of the articles for some reason. It looks very nice and I really love the font choice.

2. What think needs a little bit of work is the organization. Most of the pages were a little bit blank. Also remember that Rome didn't have color, and some of the images chosen were unrelated. Other than that your article looks amazing. :)

1. The articles were surprisingly well written! I liked seeing them in different columns, it was good to separate them like that.
2. While the images are nice, the Uncle Sam picture wasn't made until many years later. While the Romans may have campaigned with those words, I don't think putting the Uncle Sam picture really fits the.. aesthetic, I guess.
3. My favorite part was probably the ads! They looked very persuading.

I like the pages where they formatted like a newspaper. I suggest that they would follow the format. I also suggest that they put articles under their title. Not skip a page and start their articles. I like the font choices but wish it was all the same fonts.

1. I like the 3rd page because it looks like a real newspaper with the column and the sections for each piece of text.
2. I don't know if it was Padlet's fault for the format, but the pictures and lines are overlapping. If that wasn't your fault, then another thing is the font. Different articles have different fonts, so I think your group should decide on one specific font for the entire newspaper.
3. I like the use of lines to separate different articles and images.

i loved the colored images a lot. I know people want B&W, but that's not realistic! ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. I hate black and white in these articles. But the background was lacking. Mainly the colors. Vibrance and brilliance.

Very cool newspaper. I like the theme you were going for, but maybe make it easier on the eyes. The dark background with a lot of noise is too hard to read. I like the Chinese comment to Shan at the end, as I translated it and got a very hilarious result. Oh and the bibliography was very nice.

I like the way they made the new paper look modern, but in an old type of way. For the background I think they should of made it like all white or like a brownish peach color so it looks more like a newspaper. My favorite is part of this is practically the format of the newspaper.

2. One thing you need to improve on is the color. Remember Romans didn't show color. You showed a little bit of green in your background and on one picture.

This was certainly very nice, but I think you may have gone a little overboard. The Greek characters couldn't fit, the text is overlapping, and the newspaper is Roman, not Greek. I don't really know why you put Greek instead. The best part of this was the background. Cool. Still uncertain about the Greek letters.

2. What I think you need a little work on is the text. Some of your text overlaps with the Roman wording in the article. One picture was even covering the title. Other than that it looks fairly nice.

1.) I really like the newspaper or old paper kind of background. It gives a more authentic feeling to it.
2.) I think you guys need to work on the organization of the pictures because some are squished together. Although that might just be because of Ms. Loose uploading them since our group had the same problem. Our slides were all organized and fonts were there but it disappeared when we looked at it here.
3.) My favorite part of the newspaper would be Slide 3 because it's very organized and it looks like you guys translated the title and some parts into Roman.

1.) One thing I really liked is the format of the newspaper. It looks really authentic and real.
2.) I think it would be better to add a bit more pictures into the articles. Although it might make it seem not as newspaper-like as before, more pictures would give viewers something to look at rather than just reading.

Yes, we thought about making the pictures B&W, but they didn't have ink back then. Yellow-ish brown was a more realistic color palette. The overlap was due to the conversion from slides to PowerPoint. Again, black and white wasn't something they had back then because they didn't use ink. They used paints. Black was particularly hard to get, and why do that when you have colors anyway? That's why we did sepia and colored. The old paints were those colors. Yes, it was part of the rubric. But it doesn't make sense. I am willing to lose points for realism. And Jimmy, the Romans had boxing for their main sport. I know right? Shocker. And they didn't even have newspapers back then, BECAUSE PAPER IS EXPENSIVE. They also couldn't print. And they couldn't distribute. This is all fake, so yeah. I mean, eh whatever. AND ABOUT COLORS. They had color back then, or else the paintings would've been black and white. But are they? No. Just because it's old doesn't mean it has to be B&W. Like please think about it.

2. This was a very well put together slide, and i don't really have much issues with it. Other than the fact that the Romans didn't really have colors back then, so the feel could be more rustic. I am also uncertain about Romans having Boxing, but i might be wrong. Overall, nothing major.
3.I liked slide four, and the article on slide four. Really nice.

The article is very simplistic and easy to read, but the organization could use some work. Maybe the conversion messed things up, I don't know. I would say that the Roman Numerals were a nice touch, even if a little inconsistent at times.

Though if your newspaper had a different color back ground other than white, then your newspaper would have been much better and much more realistic in Roman Times. 1. I really like your ideas of your slide, and the time period you put your newspaper in. The period works very well with your slide ideas.
2. Something you guys can improve on is the format and the organization of the Newspaper. Although you guys have good articles for your slide, your slide feels messy, and unorganized. Also, the range for the date in the slide is too big. Going from 200 A.D- 300 A.D is a century's difference, so maybe make your date more specific.
3. With a day in the life of Rome, is a good and organized article in my opinion, and it was a great part you guys added for how organized it is. Probably the only organized thing in your slide though.
