My name is Ms. Collins, and I am beyond excited to be joining the middle school team this year at FLCCA, as I was in the elementary school last year. My goal is to help students grow while gaining their trust and providing a safe space for them.

A little about me, I am originally from Alabama (ROLL TIDE ROLL! ) but grew up in beautiful Colorado. I have been working with students ages 5-12 for about 6 years in different capacities such as a paraprofessional, recess coach, league coach, & other activities. But I also have experience with middle school and college education levels.
My boyfriend is Active Air Force and currently serving as a recruiter but is a Diesel Mechanic as well and that brought us to Daytona Beach, Florida 3.5 years ago. We have been together 6.5 years and have three very spoiled cat children named Casper, Milton, and Phoebe. They make each day an interesting combination of laughs, why’s, who, and of course love.
In 2022 I completed a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and I am currently a little over a year into my Doctoral degree which is a, Doctor of Management Degree with an emphasis in Organizational Development and Change. My goal after I finish my doctorate is to stay within education and be able to help with contingency plans within schools for all situations while still being able to concentrate on my passion, Equity in Education. But that’s a different story for a different day! 😊
Fun Fact #1: I love music and theatre and it has been one of my passions since I was 4. I sing, play piano and violin and recently started learning guitar.
