Teachers are mentors to guide children in exploring their strengths and talents, and acquire values to get to the sweet spot of finding their passion.

Children have the autonomy to pursue these passions alongside acquiring the fundamentals of literacy and numeracy, with the 21CCs to prime them for better assimilation of learning in the future.

Lessons do not go via the convention of curriculum hours, the melting down of curriculum and curriculum time allow for development of cross-interdisciplinary skills and knowledge, exercised through project based learning.

Parents too, are supportive, encouraging, and work alongside us.

Eg, having tiered programmes that cater to different groups of students like a Tinker Tues where interested students from different levels or classes could meet and discuss (Connector) and make something according to a theme (Creater).

Teachers will do the tutorial while students will learn thru’ self paced learning. Teachers will guide them to ensure learning and guidance.

Example - A child in a sports school will have the AI help them in the different skills learning and chart their progress. Teachers will monitor the progress and give mental support and guidance. Future schools should be virtual and learning could be anywhere in the world.

Students and parents given the say in managing school discipline and well-being matters.

For example, in Term 1, the focus is set to be on Writing. Each teacher is responsible for a specific writing objective. During each EL/MTL lessons, students can freely choose which teacher to learn that writing objective. This way, students can select the content they need to learn based on their learning needs. At the end of the term, each student must complete a writing activity or task.

This free-choice learning model can enhance students' autonomous learning ability and interest while better meeting individual learning needs and promoting personalized development. Through this teaching arrangement, students can not only master writing skills but also develop critical thinking and creativity, laying a solid foundation for their future development.
