Ihsan is derived from the word al- Husnu. It is considered a high value for a Muslim. Scholars say that Ihsan is divided into 3 parts, which are:

1.Ihsan (servant & his God) 

2.Ihsan (servant & other creatures of God) 

3.Doing everything in the best way.

 

ADVANTAGES/ WISDOMS

-Add blessings to every action

-Ihsan distinguishes between hard work and work done carelessly.

ESCHATOLOGY
~ Eschatology is a knowledge related to the hereafter. One branch of theology (the study of religion) the date of the apocalypse is only known by ALLAH. There are many signs of the apocalypse that have happened, are happening and will happen in the future.

 

THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PEOPLE WHO LOVE THE WORLD AND THE HEREAFTER:
~ People who love the world will increase worship to Allah SWT and know that everything in the world will be for a moment only.
~People who love the Hereafter focus more on gaining more luxury and will neglect their duty as a servant of Allah SWT.

 
Reflection
In this usrah session, I learned that we must keep a good relationship especially with Allah SWT, other people and even the creatures. The diversity of creatures makes us, as humans to appreciate every each of them since Allah SWT had created them by Himself and we just share our place to live with them. By keeping a good relationship with the Creator, creatures and doing our ibadah in the best way, we will attain Allah's pleasure which is the main purpose of our existences in this world.

Wish
I wish that I will be able to keep a good relationship with everyone around me under whatever circumtances and doing every good deeds that will help other creatures of Allah SWT such as animals to provide their needs. I also hope that wherever I am doing ibadah, I will allways be in the best condition to perform them as I want to gain the pleasure of Allah SWT. I hope that I will improve my ibadah, not just the compulsory one, but also those which considered as nawafil ibadah.

Greeting (Salam):

-It is necessary to greet, (give salam) in advance.
-Give salam for three times and if not answered, then we should just go home.
-To maintain the honor of self and others.

PERMISSION (IZIN)

-Ask permission before entering someone's house.

-How to enter people's houses is taught by Allah SWT to protect people's honor.

GIVING ALMS

The nature of the lucky believer is when:

-Give alms without wasting

-Not stingy

-Give alms in moderation

# Extreme almsgiving is when a person gives alms to someone far away but the person close to him is ignored such as our own families.

ADAB WITH PARENTS
-Respect our parents as they are the one who gave birth to us.
-Must not even say words such as 'ahh' , 'yih' to our parents.

-We should not have or do any revenges to our parents even when they used to do something wrong to us in the past, as they are human too, who commit mistakes and try to improve themselves in any way. 

Reflection and Wish
 I wish that I can strengthen the relationship between me and my neighbours as the keeping a good relationship with neighbours is one of Allah's command for living peacefully and helping each others. No matter how close we are with someone, we still definitely need to give salam and ask permission first before entering their houses. Besides that, one of a good deeds is giving alms. We must not be stingy and lend a hand wherever we can. I wish that my heart will always be light when it comes to giving alms to other people in needs. And the most important part, I really hope that I could be a good and useful daughter to my parents, taking care of them when they are old and listen to whatever they say as long as they are still the right thing to do. 

Convinced of calculation (HISAB) and retribution (JAZA ').

Convinced of the existence of heaven and hell.

Convinced of the existence of favors, punishments and grave slander.

~ This world is mortal (Surah Al-Mu'minum 15-16)

Qada’ & Qadar

-Surely Allah Almighty knows everything whether it easily can be seen or hidden, all in His knowledges.

-Nothing happened unless it was recorded in Luh Mahfuz.

-Everything that happens is by the will of Allah SWT.

 
Reflection 
Trusting and believing the Hearafter will always make us realize that every each of our actions are being watched. Those who have gained plesure from Allah SWT will be rewarded and go through the door of heaven while those who committed too much sins will go to Hell. It makes us feel afraid to commit any wrongdoings as the Hereafter is a permanent place for us. Believing in Qada' and Qadar is mandatory too. It is true that everything happens with Allah's will. However, we should also not surrender to destiny alone without first making an effort

Wish
I really hope that I can be a better Muslim by reminding myself about the present of the Hereafter, Qada' and Qadar. I also hope that, while being a student, I will not neglect or do any disobediences to the command of Allah SWT as it will leads to having more sins and the will close the chance of me getting into the heaven. And in any way, I also hope that the belief in Qada' and Qadar will always make me strong and accept everything in my life although they might sometimes be bitter. Sometimes, what that we want the most is not as much as it we need them and Allah SWT will provides us with what that we need. I believe that Allah SWT know the best for us.

 

Sustainability is survival, preservation and to maintain.

According to the Islamic view, 

-It is our job to take care of the environment.

-We need to be prudent and ingenious.

-Demands man to be fair to all beings

Why do we need to take care of the sustainability of the environment and ourselves?

Due to our irresponsible actions towards the task given by Allah as caliphs on earth, it has threatened our natural habitats and the life of animals. For example, the dumping of garbage at sea has threatened aquatic life at sea. Turtles face pain when there is a straw stuck in their nose and need human’s help to remove it. 

Reflection and Wish
For this week usrah, I learned that Islam has provided us the guidelines even for the sustainability. It is our responsibilities to take good care of our environment and the nature as we share our living places with other creatures of Allah SWT. We need to have more sense of appreciation and sensitivity towards our nature and environment. I wish that everyone around us will do their best in keeping their identity as Allah's caliphs on Earth as the impact of our actions are greater to other the nature and other living things. I hope that this issue will be reduced from time to time. Not to forget, me, myself will give contribution in whatever that will helps in improving our Earth.

Since it is the first day of Usrah for this semester, I had a big expectation toward it and it turned out to be good. It is a new journey, I got to know Sister Syakirah as my facilitator and my other friends too!! We had fun getting to know each other although it's only through google meet. I also gained knowledge on this very first meeting regarding Mutabaah. It was actually my first time hearing the term ‘Mutabaah” so I think it’s a good opportunity for me to widen my knowledge. Not only that, I get to revise back the tajwid to remind me while reading the Quran after this cause sometimes we tend to forget about things we had learned in the past, tajwid is one of the examples.

I wish that I could make new friends and get along with my Usrah group 81 very well. Besides, I would like to improve my tajwid and not to forget, train myself to practice Mutabaah consistently.

This week, I got exposed to a few verses from the Quran related to reason and sources of Hikmah from Ibadah. Ibadah can be divided into two which are Ibadah Ammah and Ibadah Khassah. After getting to know these two types of Ibadah, I am able to classify the amal in my everyday life into these two groups. And it makes me want to learn more, after getting to know them directly from the verses in the Quran.

I hope that I can improve my Ibadah in my everyday life, so that my Ibadah will be accepted by Allah SWT. After successfully improving them, I wish that I can increase the Ibadah to be successful in both dunya and akhirah. 

This is actually one of my favorite weeks during usrah because I get to know so many things shared by everyone in my Usrah group including topics about Wudhu, Tayammum, condition for the Acceptance (Sah) of Salah, pillars of Salah, rukhsah in Salah (Qasr and jama’, during illness), nawafil Prayers. Although I had already known and learned about these before, my knowledge is not that compact as after I get to hear from others. Plus, it’s totally different to receive the explanation from other people. We get to share and exchange our point of views about those topics and that;s what makes the session so memorable.

I wish that group sharing like this will continue in the future. This kind of sharing gives positive impacts to me and I would like to join more if there are opportunities in the future!! 

For the Usrah session this week, the topic is about the virtues found in Salah with kushu’. I learned that we need to have loyalty and jihad, struggle in the path of Allah as long as we have the capabality to do so. Reflection towards ourselves, especially toward our attitudes and behaviors are very important in order to become a better person. This includes self-restraint from sinful behavior and things that do not bring benefits to us. And lastly, I acknowledge that humbleness is a personality that should be planted in ourselves since without it, we would become an arrogant person and blinded with our own goodness.  

I wish that with the 5 things highlighted in the topic discussed, I could increase my khushu' in Salah. Having khushu’ in Salah has been a dream of mine because I believe as I'm just a normal person, I could not get out from whispers of the devil and thinking of world affairs while performing my prayers.

This week, the topic encourages me about the virtues found in Sawm, as fasting could be beautiful if only we know the benefits behind it. With fasting, I believe that what has been shared during the tazkirah is indeed true. The virtues behind fasting contribute to sabr, takrim and rahmah. If we are able to reflect how important and the goodness of fasting is, we are able to achieve a higher level on the side of Allah SWT.

 

As fasting has positive impacts both physically and spiritually, I wish that I could achieve a higher level of fasting by increasing my amal while fasting. Besides, during fasting, I hope that I could do less things that do not benefit me instead, increase the time to do many other good things.

The virtues found in Zakah and Sadaqah is the topic for this week. Although the topic may look simple, I don’t think we have been exposed much about why we should not neglect Zakah and Sadaqah in the first place. From what I learned, Zakah and Sadaqah will make us realize our reliance on Allah and strengthen our brotherhood. We rely ourselves on Allah because we believe that all rezeki came from Him and there would be no losses if we proceed with Zakah and Sadaqah. Besides, it would help to lighten the burden of those in need, hence strengthen our brotherhood for helping each other.

I wish that I will be able to Sadaqah more even though I’m still a student. In the effort to increase my Sadaqah, I also wish that the Sadaqah will be able to purify my heart and make me feel calm wherever I help other people.

I find the topic of the virtues found in Hajj and Umrah is really intriguing as I had performed Umrah before. But behind it, it actually reflects a lot about sacrifice and taqwa. Hajj and Umrah are indeed the worship that are highly regarded by Allah SWT. The discussions reminded me how to perform it the right way and what to avoid during the Ibadah.

I wish to perform Hajj one day and even Umrah again. If there is a destination for me, I would definitely choose Makkah to perform umrah. I hope that I could increase my knowledge on these Ibadahs so that it would help me to achieve a more desirable and perfect Ibadah in the future.

Hopefully the friendship that we build in this Usrah group of 81 will continue remain and last until we enter the degree in iium hehe :))
