I was surprised that the old man followed Ian to protect him while he was traveling into the park. It was nice of him to do that.

Reaction :
I liked the part where Mrs, Watkins told Ian that he could call her if he needed help, even if it looks a bit strange or creepy or both. I liked it because it means that Ian can feel safe by talking to a teacher and knowing that someone can keep your secrets or help you go through stuff and it can make you feel safe, or else that's how I would feel.
