Carve the pumpkin and we practiced everything and used sustained language.

Nico has a LONG way to go but I tested a girl on the reading part of LAS and I askedhim to intro duce himself in English and he said "My name is ______" and the girl responded back. I also gave him a Spelling test and a short reading test. He learned the name for "SMORES" while Ms. Barrera was here. I figured it would be insane but we tried it,
AJ did his thinking web, and selected "American Footbal". He had to do common and proper nouns with his favorite topic. JuRo did it right, but AJ still needs to try his proper nouns. I am not sure he gets it,  and he has LOTS of gaps in BASIC SPELLING WORDS. I  just asked his teacher to let me do that with him in groups. I asked Dr. B if he will let me go there during reading groups and I will work with them there.

He started out well and his speaking skills are improving A LOT to the point where he is tricking English speaking kids into wordplay and things like that. He understands my commands completely and can repeat back directions. 
He took too long to complete any work, and all he could finish with was with the list of common nouns.
