Growing up, I had teachers call me Marshall McKenna. The name itself is Irish but that is not why my parents chose it. My dad's name is Ken and he wanted his name to be in his daughter's name. My last name is technically made up. My great grandfather basically kidnapped my grandfather and his twin brother. They originally lived in West Virginia near Marshall University. When he took his two sons away from his estranged wife, he changed their names and moved across the country to Arizona.
