During the interview process, I interviewed someone who was clinically depressed. It was really eye opening and made me reconsider what I knew about mental illness and made me more aware about the situation.

I feel like I picked up the skill of thinking on my feet and asking proper questions. Our interview questions were formed in a way where people wouldn't answer them with a a simple yes or no. Instead, they would describe their answers which gave us more information to use. I also managed to come up with follow up questions on the spot which allowed me to get more answers.

I guess that's also the life skill; one step up the courage ladder for being able to initiate conversation with a friend you haven't talked to in quite a long while because of certain circumstances.

With that, it make me realise that we can help people out there despite our age. And also, theres always a room for improvements in any creation out there and that we can always try to improve the prototype.

2) I have pick up the life skill of selfawareness and empathy. SPEAR journey have make me realise that understanding and really putting myself in someone's shoe is important because we tend to neglect or see the issues in a different point of view.

One way is to see things from others’ point of view as that would show us a different perspective on things happening in the world. This would then lead us to think or create different ideas we would not have thought of.

1 life skill I gotten from the SPEAR journey is the ability to be more open-minded and view different perspectives. This sort of widen my view of my surroundings.
