I currently am trying to get a certificate in Secondary Education here at Rio Salado through their post-bacc program. I have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and even passed their FE/EIT Exam to become a certified Engineer-In-Training. However, I did not have passion for Engineering as much as I do teaching. I work at a Math Tutoring Center called Mathnasium and I have been working there for 4 years. There, I tutor kids from Kindergarten to 12th grade. I also work for my church, St. Mary's Catholic Church, as a Youth Minister In Training where I help kids from Junior High to High School receive their sacraments. I am very much into all kinds of sports including: basketball, football, baseball and even hockey. I would really love to become a Junior High or High School math teacher someday and I am very excited to learn about what it takes to become a great math teacher.
