In 1941, she was asked to join Harlem Resistance Group. She started by sabotage bridges and railway lines, then she learned to shoot and kill. She was really good at following her targets and ambushing them because she looked really young. In 1943, her and her sister met their best friend named Hannie Schaft. She was a drop out student because she refused to be loyal to Germany. They formed a sabotage and assassination cell. The girls were traumatized when Nazis arrested and killed her in 1945, just three weeks before the war ended in Europe.
