Description:
Germany planned to attack Poland, using an effective strategy that broke through Poland's defenses with extreme efficiency. Meanwhile, Russia also began to invade Poland. To stay away from trouble with Russia, Germany declared a special pact known as the Nazi-Soviet Pact that demanded peace between Germany and Russia and to equally divide Poland between them. France and Great Britain reacted to this by declaring war on Germany.

Description:
Furious of the attack on Pearl Harbor, the United States launches atomic bombs on Japan, striking two cities: Hiroshima and Nagasaki. A massive amount of Japanese citizens perished in the attack, and the radiation levels made the lands uninhabitable, showing the true power of the atomic bomb.

Significance:
The United States gets back at Japan for the attack of Pearl Harbor, but it seems like a ludicrous punishment. Japan VS the US

Description:
Japan wanted to initiate a surprise attack on the US and deal as much damage as possible, and so they launched fighters to destroy Pearl Harbor. They saw the American aircraft carriers as a high priority target and aimed to destroy them.

Significance:
Due to the damages, the US wanted to get back at Japan. Japan's industrial factories were unable to keep up with the destruction of much war equipment such as planes and ships, while America's factories were just barely keeping in sync with the destruction. Eventually Japan had to fall back due to the casualties of the war.
