We study it to gain knowledge of O'Brien and his experiences in the war and understand the many global issues that come with that

2. How are we affected by literary texts in various ways? How are we impacted by TTTC?
We can see the trauma that they faced each day with loss and suffering.

3. In what ways is meaning constructed, negotiated, expressed and interpreted in TTTC?
Meaning is constructed by showing his process to get to the war and in order to keep a relatively calm mind during a time of war

4. How does the structure of style of TTTC affect its meaning?
Because it isn't necessarily in order and we can see that PTSD patients or people with traumatic backgrounds couldn't remember things in order
