Although all these event had somewhat of an impact the holocaust was so large and traumatizing that still 77 years later the jewish people are trying to make up for it. The holocaust made a horrible and lasting impact in the Jewish community, killing over six million Jewish people. To this day extreme jewish people are still trying to make their population rise. The holocaust not only impacted jewish people though, Gypsies, homosexuals, and people with disabilities were also hated on by the German Nazi's. The holocaust not only killed these people but also tortured them and experimented on many of them. (Especially twins!) The Nazi scientists used eugenics. They believed that minorities like Jewish people, queer people, and disabled people's genes were wrong and needed to be fixed. They would do immoral things to these people and justify it with eugenics! The holocaust made a lasting impact on many communities. Another important event was the bombings of Jima and Nagasaki. Killing over 200,000 Japanese people! This brutal bombing was a result of Japan's unwillingness to surrender. The name of this atomic bomb is Fat boy. After the bomb itself killed so many innocent people the people who were still there died from radiation exposure. This event was catastrophic! After this their emperor, Hirohito publicly mourned the deceased. This event misplaced many families and friends.
