It was christmas, and the family of a kid called "Kevin" (The family McCallister), wanted to travel to Paris, France, to celebrate it. The big family was getting ready for the travel, packing their suitcases and backpacks. Kevin was the youngest one in the family, and there was a problem: He didn't know how to prepare himself. He asked for help to some members of the family, but they refused to help him. He got mad because of this. He went to his older brother, "Buzz", to ask for help. Buzz always "bullied" Kevin, and he told him a story. The family had a neighbor, "Marley". But, Buzz said that Marley was a murderer, and he killed his family a long time ago. He said that the police didn't have many prove to blame Marley, so they never arrested him. Kevin believed his brother, and he got scared of him. A moment later, the family was having pizza as dinner. Kevin wanted his favorite type; The only cheese pizza. When listening that Buzz finished it, he got mad at him, causing a big trouble there. The whole family got mad at Kevin, and his mom scolded him. Meanwhile, a "police officer" was looking for some information about the travel, and the security. His mom told him to sleep in the basement. He was scared of that place, and he refused. The place was very cozy, though. After trying to confront his mom, he finally entered there. He wished for his family to disappear.

After a while, the family goes to sleep. But... Due to the strong blizzard, a tree fell on an utility pole, causing the power go out in several locations overnight. This caused the alarm clock they'll use to wake up early to go to the travel to reset. In the morning, the family woke up late, and they were in a hurry, trying to catch their fly. They got to the airport, and they got into the plane. Kevin's mom had a feeling, that told her something's wrong. She thought for a moment, and she noticed she forgot to bring Kevin in the middle of the fly. Kevin woke up, and he noticed no one was in the house. He thought his wish was fulfilled. He started to do things that he wasn't allowed to do, like jumping on the bed, running in all the house, revise the private things from buzz, play with a shotgun, watch movies of gangsters, and going on the stands with a sled. All was great for Kevin... Until the night arrived... And the "Wet bandits" too. It turns out that the police officer from one day before, was a burgler, with one of his mates. They were called "Harry, and Marv". They were planning to steal houses in the city. But the one that catched their eyes was the McCallister's house. They tried to enter the house, but... Kevin noticed it, and he started to turn on the lights of the house, scaring away the burglers. Kevin hid under a bed, but thinking it twice, he said it was pathetic. He got out of the house, wanting to confront the burglers, but he finded his neighbor, the one that scares him. He ran to the house again, screaming. After a few hours, the family finally was in Paris. Kevin's mom was very worried about him, and she tried to search for help, without archieving it.

Kevin's mom was not going to give up. She tried to ask for a fly to get back to the house for Kevin, but she didn't archieved it neither. The only fly was going to be in 2 days. She decided to stay, saying goodbye to Kevin's dad. Kevin decides to go to the store, to buy a toothbrush. Until... Marley appeared out of nowhere. Kevin started to scream and run away from there, but he forgot to pay for the toothbrush. A police officer started to chase him, but Kevin was faster. After a while, The Wet Bandits almost ran over Kevin. In that moment, Kevin noticed something... The guy from the van seemed similar to the police officer from the beggining of the movie. Kevin, relieved, started to walk away from there, heading to his house. But the Wet Bandits started to chase him slowly, still in the van. Kevin noticed the van was chasing him, and he started to run away, scared. He hid in a church. Kevin noticed that those guys were the burglers, and he was determined to something: To not let the bandits steal the house. At night, Kevin managed to make the house look like if it was full of people. He decided to order a pizza, obviously, only of cheese. He got into some mischievous, and he scared away the pizza guy with the gangster's film. And after a while, he prepared himself to sleep. All was good, but he was starting to miss his family. The next day, he did the house chores, like to buy things from the store, and to wash clothes. Later, the bandits went to the McCallister's house again. Kevin noticed Marv, and he decided to scare him with the film too. meanwhile, Kevin's mom was still trying to ask for help. And suddenly, a group of strangers heard this. They offered help to her, and she instantly accepted. But... Then, the Wet Bandits decided to watch over Kevin's house, and they noticed that they have been tricked the whole time by Him. Kevin noticed it, and he got really, REALLY scared. He went to a place, where a fake Santa Claus was. Kevin told him that he knew already that he was the fake. But kevin also said that he got only one christmas wish for that year: To see his family again... Getting back to his house, he saw the other families celebrating christmas together, and he got sad, missing his family even more. He also went to the church, but... There was Marley in there too. And after a loooooong conversation, Kevin noticed that Marley was not bad at all. After a while, he got home again. He make a huuuuuuuuuge plan, with a lot of painful tramps, to prevent the bandits from getting in.

Kevin did things like: Shooting at him with the shotgun, throwing them a planch, burning their heads and hands, making them fall from the stairs, inserting nails into their feet, and a loooooooooooot more. While they were literally suffering, kevin called the police. Then, he escaped throught a window, to his treehouse. Then, to the neighbor's house. The Wet Bandits were FINALLY thinking for a moment, and they managed to corner Kevin. They wanted to make Kevin suffer everything that they passed throught, and make him pay what he did. They threatened him, but suddenly... Marley hit them with a big shovel, and saved Kevin.

After a while, the police arrives, taking the Wet Bandits. They get in the police car, and Kevin waved his hand mischievously at them, before going away. He is satisfied now, but... He missed his family a lot. He still wishes to see his family again. But after a few hours, his mom arrives. Kevin hears the door open, and he sees his mom. He ran to hug her, and his mom too. They both gave a big, warm hug, finally together. Then, the rest of the family arrives too. He's happy now... He looked at the window one last time. The snow was falling, and... Kevin notices Marley. Marley waves his hand at him, and kevin also did it. Now the whole family is together again...
