This was a critical part of the renovation / security imperatives in the 2008 & 2013 bond programs, but the architect / PM seems to have overlooked these rooms (& maybe other rooms as well). In the event of a security lock-down, we have to walk out into the hallway & lock our doors with keys. Would it be possible to install thumb-turn locks on these doors?  
 
Also, would it be possible for each classroom to have some type of secondary door barricade? Something similar to the “Barracuda Intruder Defense System For Commercial Doors” that can be installed under the door or over the door closers during an emergency situation...?
