1-Explain the task - During the NCS Wales trip we worked as a team to complete different tasks. One of them was when we had to cross from one platform to the other with the use of planks and your teammates.
2-How did this develop your teamwork skills? This developed my teamwork skills because it was part of a challenge to gain points and we had to complete each challenge to be able to move onto the next so it made us work as a team more to complete it.
3- What went well? We were able to complete the task as a team and in reasonable time.
4- What could you improve? To communicate with each other during the task and have a tactic on how to do it.

1-Explain the task- Making it to college on time and attending most of my lessons last year
2-How did this develop your motivation skills? I knew more about the course and was more prepared as i was on time for class
3- What went well? I was able to make it on time to most of my classes and it improved my knowledge on the course
4- What could you improve? Making it on time to every class and not missing or being late for little reasons

1-Explain the task - Completing an information poster on safety.
2-How did this develop your teamwork skills? This was helpful to develop teamwork skills as we had to communicate with each other about what information we were going to write on the poster and how we would set it out.
3- What went well? We were able to create a detailed poster as a group with each others information inputted.
4- What could you improve? To continue to use this method in the future with further projects.

1-Explain the task - We completed a murder case activity as a group.
2-How did this develop your teamwork skills? This developed our teamwork skills because we had to work together to figure out what had happened and how it happened.
3- What went well? We were able to complete the task to a good extent and work as a team to figure out the case
4- What could you improve? One thing i would improve is the time it took for us to complete it. If we could complete it in a faster time it would be more beneficial

1 - Explain the task: I did dance for 10 years from the age of 7.

2 - How did this develop my communication skills? This developed my communication skills because in some of the dances i was the lead and had to lead the whole group throughout the dance.

3 - what went well? I think i was able to lead the team well as they understood what to do.

4 - what could you improve? To improve, i could’ve spoken to everyone individually so they all knew what to do fully.

In college, I lead in a teamwork and leadership task where we had to pitch an idea to the class to try and get an investment (dragons den)

I developed my leadership skills by creating the marketing opportunity for the pitch and explain it to the dragons.

Something i did well was able to present the marketing so everyone could understand it clearly and understand where we wanted to take our pitch and how we wanted to progress with it.

One thing i could have done better could of been by printing out the table so people could see it more clearly than just on the screen.

In college, i lead in a teamwork and leadership task when we had to make a chair out of balloons.

This helped my confidence as i explained my thoughts and ideas to the group.

One thing that went well was that the team understood the task and we were able to work as a team effectively.

One thing that could be improved is try and make the chair a bit more sturdy so it lasted longer when used.

In college we went to various talks during crime and justice week. They were about social situations that could happen on a average day.

For example there was a knife crime talk and it made me more aware of crime and i can now also spread awareness about this story.

For work experience we have taken part in a 4 week tennis leaders course. This is where we have developed our skills in tennis and on week 4 we would teach it to a group of people.

This has developed my team work skills as we have had to work in various groups of people and communicate with each other about what needs to be done to present correctly.

Another work experience i have is my current job at oakwell barnsley fc. I work about 4 times a month when there is a match or an event. I serve people food and drinks before and during the match.

This has improved my communication skills as i have to communicate to the bar staff and other staff members about what the customers want and also communicate with the customers to a provide good service.

Another work experience i have is that i care for a family member at a caring company. This is where i assist with personal cares and help other cares with more advanced cares.

Part Time Job

I currently work at Nucare which is a care company in the community based in and around Barnsley. In this company my job role is a senior care worker. I attend to clients houses to help them with every day tasks and care for them throughout the day. In my job role, as well as looking after clients I also make sure that medication is taken correctly and that other members of staff are ok while out on shift while I am out working. This is going to give me the necessary skills for my future carer as it gives me the chance to speak to new people on a daily basis and have empathy for others on a daily basis.
