In both stories, they were both deeply in love and were in a completely misunderstood sitution because of lack of information. The lack of information, ( In Romeo and Juliet), lead to all of the death in this play because most of the deaths take lace within a matter of minutes. I think they were more concerned with a social status and family name. The only time Juliet's mother speaks to her is when she is telling her about her marriage to Paris. which means juliet will have a baby which carries of the family tree. Both stories show one who is blamed for all the death. The knife in both of the stories could represent the neglect from there parent's. Even though the knife would physically be their end the parents could've done that mentally over the years by by not wanting to come to an understanding with their kids instead being very stubborn and just saying no immediately.
