Growing up I danced with the same group of people supporting me and continuing to help me grow as a dancer. As I got older these people are like siblings and family to me. This team went through so much and accomplished so many things together. Seeing the seniors leave for college this year is going to be so sad and different. I can't imagine my dance career being the same without them.

Family

Family, is a huge factor in my life and the most important people to be surrounded by. I have two older brothers who graduated from college and my Mom and Dad. My family is always so supportive to me and continues to push me to be the best that I can. Growing up I realized that family is the key in life and one of the only people you can trust. The way your family builds morals and support establishes your personality and traits. Family is always going to be with you in the long run.

Technology

This current generation has increased technology in many ways. Instead of having fun, going on bike rides, and being outside, people would rather be on their phones inside which says a lot. Addiction on phones can lead into horrible situations that should not be happening. Technology also has impacts from people's mental health, socialization, poster, and even cyber-bulling. If this is just the beginning of Technology, then the future technology is going to be so powerful and unstoppable.

Religion

Religion shapes you as a person on your moral beliefs. I am Catholic and I love creating a relationship with God to get closer to him. I try to stay consistent by going to church every week with my family. Not every religion believes in the same beliefs but it all comes back to God. Without moral values and religion people would act differently and people would perceive the world indifferently. In other words, religion is important because it gives a meaning and purpose to life and shows value in individuals.

Education

Education is a key component to life throughout any age. While growing up, all the knowledge that I have received pushes me to learn more. Without education colleges or finding jobs could be insanely hard. Most jobs like to see a college degree or masters to accept you for a job. The importance of education can go so far, meaning education increases critical thinking, self control, problem solving, independence, and awareness. There are also amazing outcomes that come from education. It is extremely important to try your best through your education career.

Friends

Friends are a huge component throughout my life. I love all my friendships I have with each individual friend. I realized, who you surround yourself with shapes who you are. The actions you friends do cause yourself to do the same such as slang, movements, and thinking wise. Having a variety of friends is good as long as you know which ones are real friends. There are ups and downs to friendships but in the long run the close friendships mean the most.

Ethnicity

Ethnicity reminds you of who you really are. I am half Mexican and half Ecuadorian and love to visit both countries in the summer. Ethnicity brings culture and traditions into your life. I had a quince last year mainly from my ethnicity and it was so much fun. I enjoyed all the memories and moments that were made. From your ethnicity you can also surround yourself with the same group of people providing a strong base.

Generation Z

Generation Z has changed so much from Generation X. Gen Z is more directed on technology and many say that this generation is crazy. My generation grew up with all kinds of technology integrated into our lives. Gen Z is always on our phones, computers, and TV causing no fun activity. Especially with the pandemic happening Gen Z has increased even more with technology and laziness. The next generation is going to be scary because there is going to be more advanced technology.

Travel / Geography

I have traveled to many places with my family over the years. We travel so much and love to see different environments and areas. Every year there is always a big and fun trip awaiting us. So far my favorite trip would have to be Hawaii because of the fun vibes and climate Hawaii brings. These trips always relieve stress and provide fun moments and breaks from the outside world. Trips are very important so you can have time to appreciate all the hard work throughout the year and make memories.

Food

I love to try different kinds of foods all the time with family and or friends. I love the diversity in food and how there is a large variety to choose from. Every time I eat out I try to avoid fast food and try ordinary cultural food. Having different cultural foods expands your taste buds and provides you with food that you would never think you would like. Exploring other unique dishes can help your digestive and health system.
