Inuktitut songs are important, children are learning and children learn fast. Inuktitut is very important in our culture and we must pass it on by either singing and/or talking in Inuktitut.
This Inuktitut song (tarralikisaakuluk) is appropriate for any age group but in daycare setting, I would prefer to sing it around 2-4 years olds
The word ‘butterfly’ can easily be learned in this song. This song is talking about a beautiful yellow butterfly. Children will or could learn to sing and/or talk in Inuktitut
Words that doesn’t make sense don’t really matter in my opinion but you can always make words make sense. Why? Because they are nonsense(?) but like I said, you can always make words make sense
This song is not new to me so I don’t really have anything to say on this part but for the next part, even though this song is not new I learned that it is easy to translate to English but there is no song about this one

Children learns more about the traditional songs and are more interested in the Inuktitut It is important for the children to learn this song and and it is easy to sing the song for the kids and they can practice if they are interested in this song
This is for the children up to 3 to 5 year olds it is Inuktitut song that they can easily learn
Children can easily sing the song called qulupaajusii qulupapaajusi and use the 2 balls to juggling.
Children can sing that don’t make sense and make it sense in their own words and still sing it
Kids can be interested in the songs that they like and they can learn the words more about the inuktitu

Traditional children’s songs are important to a childs development because of the knowledge and skills for a child to remember and to be excited of what the song is about.
The ages that are appropriate for “aahivannuaq” song is 3-5 year olds.
The language and vocabulary they’d learn from this song is inuktitut and nattilingmiutitut dialect.
Nonsense words are important for learning because children make up words to their understanding, and adults try to understand what a word means to them.
Interesting words that we can learn from the song is how to properly say the names in Inuktitut nattilingmiut dialect. Without understanding the words can understand by actions and gestures describing the song.

They are important because it keeps the language traditional going to generation to generation and for them to keep talking in Inuktitut.

ᐃᐱᑎᑭ - the students would easily learn the lyrics and can start memorizing it after listening or singing to it few times.

Nonsense words are not important for me because I wouldn’t be able to understand the words.

It was my first time hearing it, all the lyrics is new and interesting to me.

Inuktitut sings are important to children because they learn fast on the song they sing, using what we know to pass on to the children.
What ages is appropriate for the song?
ᐃᐱᑎ song for 1-5 age group as they are learning Inuktitut language.
What language and vocabulary? It is our language to make them understand that this is how we spell and write.
When words don’t make sense in a song it would not make any sense or understand what we sang. Why? We would not get what it was sang in the first place.
This ᐃᐱᑎ song is not new, as we grow up learning about this since i was young.

The Inuktitut traditional songs are important because at a young age, that when are Brian’s are still developing is the best time to learn new things, especially songs that we will remember for the rest of our childhood years,
The song called tallimaa mitiralaaq ( 5 little ducklings) is appropriate age category is between 2-4 years olds as it is a easy song to learn and can follow with your hands if you don’t know the lyrics.
The language and vocabulary the children would learn from this song is Inuktitut and English as the song can be sang in both languages. It is a catchy song that is easily to learn.
Nonsense words or pronouncing words we can’t pronounce is a way to learn, making mistakes is better then not trying. Some has a hard time to learn new vocabulary and aren’t bilingual as for the people who lives
higher north has stronger Inuktitut language than the south Baffin.
Singing tallimaa mitiralaaq (5 little ducklings) can be different animals too and make up new words for it by changing the animals names.
