elaina- When Bayli talked about how the prisoners in Night had to look at other prisoners being hung, and making the connection to the Milgram Shock Experiment it helped me understand more about how the people who were shocking the others weren't psychopaths, but just were following orders. Just like how even large adults would follow the orders of the people in power in the book Night. And that it is almost human nature to follow orders from someone in power, and it still occurs even today.

By looking at duncan's connection about Stanford prison, I now understand that the guards in the camp take their power way to far by just using it to force people to do what they want them to do and basically control them with physical punishments.

Linlee- After reading Ryan's connection between the book Night and The Milgram Shock Experiment, it is clear that when people are given orders, they tend to follow blindly even if they knew they were hurting people. This helped me understand why people can act in inhumane ways without realizing the impact they are having.

Carter- After reading Ryan's connection between the book Night and The Milgram Shock experiment, i learned that when people are told do something they follow orders but they do it in their own way. Instead of shocking the people like they were told. They put it up to the highest volts to hurt the people by shocking them, but they weren't ordered to put it the highest volts.
