i am not confident with my introduction. Ishmael Beah was exposed to the horrors of war at the age of only 14 years old. His life was changed forever and survived through it to right a book showing the terrible things of war, a long way gone. He was very poor, him and all of his siblings lived in a small town which was eventually attacked, He was taken and they turned him into a child soldier and his life will change forever.

The last reason Ishmael's action are justified is that he saw killing as the right thing, Ishmael said, ¨ I was not afraid of these lifeless bodies. I despised them and kicked them to 7flip them.¨ This shows the point is correct because he saw the killing so much as a young kid so that was all he knew so he eventually saw it as ok which makes him kill people with no questions asked.

Malalaś father is a good parent because he wants what's best for her, he's very supportive and he believes in Malala. Malalaś's father was an important person to Malalaś life, because of her father. My topic is important because it shows he showed Malala that you shouldn't be afraid to speak your mind and that it isn't your fault for having your own opinion about something.

In conclusion Ishmael does change during the course of his journey because his goal in life changed. His goal in the beginning was to be a rapper and due to what happened in his journey his goal changed to trying to survive each passing day. He became a monster because even though he was forced to kill people he still killed them and hurt them. His feelings change throughout his journey he starts to think that his gun is his protector and normally people do not feel that way. Would you change if what happened to Ishmael happened to you?

Mr Edward Hyde is alone in the world for being the only truly evil man in the ranks of mankind. Hyde himself is the culmination of all the evil a man can be, he hurts many and even murders a man. What creature does these things, a man or a monster? Someone capable of good or evil? Hyde can do no good so we know what the answer must be. Evil acts are like a dark ink that stain the white of a human soul, and Hyde’s is a dark abyss from which he can never leave.

The final reason why Ishmael's actions are justified because he was traumatized. ''I had begun to fall into some sort of nightmare. A splash of blood hit my face. In my reverie I had opened my mouth a bit, so I tasted some of the blood. As I pat it out and wiped it off my face, I saw the soldier it had come form. Blood poured out of the bullet holes in him like water rushing through newly opened tributaries. His eyes wide open; he still held his gun.'' (Beah 118). Ishmael was reflecting on when he first got traumatized by seeing people die. This proves the opinion that Ishmael's actions as a child soldier are justified because he was traumatized. Ishmael says he fell into a nightmare because he was scared, everyone around him was getting shot, he did not want to believe what was happing. Ishmael watched people get shot and killed. Ishmael's actions are justified because he was traumatized.

Secondly Education helps people pursue their goals and stand up for them. In malala’s book she had wrote an inspiring quote which was “Let us pick up our books and pens; I said they are our most powerful weapons. One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world.” which can be found on page 310, She had said that as a symbol of strength and inspiration for young women to stand up for their education. As well as pursue their goals in the future and not let anyone stop them from reaching them no matter how hard it gets. This was the second reason as to why education should be a human right.

To begin with, one reason why i believe that Malala's father is a good parent is because he encouraged her. Malala says “At school my father organized a peace march and encouraged us to speak out against what was happening.” (yousafzai chapter 11). To explain, malala's father encouraged Malala and others to speak out and not be afraid to speak out and inspire others. This proves my thesis because if you encourage someone to do the right thing or help them speak out, that means you are being a good person which in this case malala's father was a good parent.

Ishmael is a child soldier who lost everything he had his village was raided and his family went missing.
