Around the world in one day

The students of prepa tec Eugenio Garza Laguera travelled around the world in just one day and you may be

wondering how, but yes, the students of first and third semester who are currently
enrolled in a third language hosted an international fair in which, the people
who did not participate visited the different countries like USA, France,
Australia, Canada, etc. And when you were
visiting a country, the students were giving information about the country;
like typical food, landmarks, culture, geography, the meaning of the flag and
the famous people who were born there.
First, we visited USA, when we got there it was a girl who
was dressed like Minnie Mouse because of Disneyland Park that is located in
Orlando. She started to tell us about the traditions of this country like
Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Labor Day. USA is located above Mexico and she
told us a fact, that the USA flag has 50 stars and each one means every single
state of this country. Some famous people that were born there are George
Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and so many that leave a mark in the history of
the country.
Then, we visited Haiti. Here, the students told us about
the traditions, the costumes, and a little bit of history. Here we tasted some
rice that the students made for the
viewers, it was delicious, and we had a very nice experience.
Some members of the team, were dressed like the people of
this country, and explain to us the meaning of them. They told us, about the
National Museum of art that is a famous landmark in Haiti. Some famous people
that were born there are, Jean-Bertrand and François Duvallier who were
presidents of the country. The Haiti flag is a bicolour flag featuring two
horizontal bands coloured blue over red, defaced by a white panel bearing the coat of arms.
And Finally, we visited Canada, here the students pasted
some posters that represent the characteristics of the country in a easy way,
the flag of this country is a flag
consisting of a red field with a white square at its centre, in the middle of
which features a stylized, red, 11-pointed maple leaf. Some
famous people who were born in this country are: Michael Buble and Justin
Bieber, who are recognized singers around the world. Here, we tasted hot cakes that the students made, they were delicious
like all the food that we tasted. And a landmark that we remember is Niagara
Falls, that an icon of Canada.
We had so much fun, but the most important thing is that
we learned a few facts, and we socialized with our friends. We tasted a lot of
delicious food, but the ones that we visited were the best of all.
The information given was very clear and we liked the karaoke,
all the activities and we congratulate them
for all the effort that they made.

Writing of the second partial project

First you need to know what is
studying abroad, this means going to school in another country because of your decision or your parents. You need to
be very careful at the time of choosing the country because you will need to be
prepared to do all the things by your own, and is better if you know about the
culture and the beliefs, to be prepare for all the things that will appear on
the process.

Secondly,when you are thinking about
going to another country for studying an international plan, you need to
consider that there are so many great advantages like, meeting new people with different cultures
and customs to yours, learning a language well, realizing how much you miss
your family and this will help you to
appreciate them. You will receive a diploma to work in another country and you
will know more places.

Also, there are important disadvantages
that you have to analyze to know if you are going to be fine living alone while
missing your family,managing your money
for food and basic necessities, adapting to your new environment. Therefore these
are the disadvantages, you will need to make new friends which is very
difficult if you are a shy
person.Sometimes it will be hard for you to understand the language of the
country where you are going to study, you will miss your family so much, maybe
you are not going to like the food and you will live alone or with other
students in a little space for both.

Finally, if you are thinking about
studying abroad and the disadvantages mentioned didn’t affect you, go ahead!
Because you need to live your life by taking chances, learning experiences and
being independent. I have a friend that is an exchange student named Jose
Antonio, he is so happy studying at Prepa Tec and living in Monterrey, he has
made a lot of friends and trust me, he likes Monterrey’s delicious food as much
as a Regio , he has learned many customs. Don't worry about your family, the
social media will help to you to always be in contact with them. From now on,
you only need to focus about picking the perfect school and the best country. I
recommend you to investigate the culture,
food, traditions and the different opportunities that the university has
for you, make a list of advantages and disadvantages and choose the one that
meets your necessities. Good luck!
