On opening night of the exhibit the artist goes missing. Was she murdered like the victims in her artwork? Is she hiding out somewhere to make her exhibit more compelling and famous? It’s not as gory as it sounds. Started out slowly but is picking up the intensity and mystery.

Lily Beth
I really really enjoyed reading this book because it grabs the readers attention right away. It is about a girl named Cash who grew up going in and out of foster homes. She minds her business for the most part except when Winston, the town sheriff, discovers a body on the Red River. Cash loves her ranchero and does anything on the farm for her job. When she hears about this murder she has an image in her head and decides to follow the images she experiences. This book is super interesting the more and more you read it!!

He suffers from clinical depression and struggles to make connections in America, and he’s nervous it will be the same in Iran. Good book as it’s not very cheesy, but of course there are some times where you feel like you’ve read it before. Overall a good book for light reading, I cried.

Dulce Sancen:
Overall, Dumplin' is a fantastic book. The book is about a plus sized girl named Willowdean who just finished her sophomore year in High School and will soon start her summer job. There she develops a crush on a boy named Bo and she is shocked to learn he likes her back. This causes her to lose her self-confidence and in order to regain she decides to do something she never thought she would do, join a beauty pageant. I recommend this novel because it shows people how you have accept yourself for who you are and not let others hold you back from doing things you enjoy.
