Welcome to our Bulletin board! After reviewing this week's module in Canvas, contribute by making a post describing how you would implement one of the tools (Padlet, Feedback Fruit, or Monday)in your distance learning course, and explain how it would enhance learner-to-learner communication. Comment on at least two of your classmate's posts.

I decided to focus on Monday.Com. After watching the video, I was surprised at how much it had to offer. I feel like this website could replace other project management systems like Microsoft Project. I would use Monday.Com in a group setting, allowing the group to organize and manage their project in a way that is shareable.

Ashley Hunter

I have played around with Monday for personal project management but never knew it could be shared and used for collaboration. I had never heard of the other 2 applications. I love Thinking! It was my favorite but and click the link on the side and I show how you how I would implement Thinglink.I made a whole IDT template project, just because I enjoyed the interactive features so much. I also really enjoy Paldet. It reminds me of Trello boards and google planner. I like the idea of information card decks. These tools are great for collaboration. I look forward to researching them more and see how I can implement tools like these into my eLearning. ❤️Thank you for sharing. _Sarah Van Kirk

I have used Monday.com in the past and loved it. I love the interface and how user-friendly it is. I must say that project management software nowadays is much more awesome than, say, 10 years ago.

I will use Monday.com to set goals for students and track their progress. I'll add tasks and due dates for completion and celebrate the little wins in between.

Ma. Angeli Graham

I chose to focus on FeedbackFruits, which I think is a really cool way to put reviewing in the student's hands. I love how it allows the instructor to set different criteria to really customize the reviewing experience and take some of the pressure away (i.e. letting the reviews be anonymous so as not to have anyone feel singled out, whether they are reviewing or being reviewed). I think this is excellent for peer reviewing as a general practice, but I could see this being a very powerful tool for first-year college students who might be new to critical feedback and could be discouraged if thrown to the wolves immediately.

I'd use this in a course where I've already included discussion posts in some form so that it would feel like a natural progression with slightly higher stakes. It would also allow me as an instructor to have a makeshift rubric compiled from student reviews, all while protecting student integrity and emotions.

The Monday program would work best in my work environment for keeping track of multiple projects using a common interface.

One of the frustrating parts of my job is there are multiple projects I am part of but depending on who owns the process there are different interfaces and different ways of showing/displaying the information.

The closest I have to this is using Microsoft 365 and Teams where each of our groups has their own Team Page and can organize and display information for the team.
