This was earlier restricted only to native TV channels, radio stations and OOH advertisements. People have also started taking varied interests on an active or passive basis on issues happening globally like the terrorist attack on France earlier or the upcoming national elections in the US. The media on the other hand has become personal, any individual can start his own channel and get people worldwide to subscribe to it.
