The differences between them is that oral communication is with spoken words, its faster than by text, you can see the persons face and perceive their emotions and also you can hear the tone of how they are saying the words. On the other hand, written text is in written or typed words, takes more time, and sometimes it can be misunderstood.

I think oral conversation is easier to understand so there are no misunderstandings. Written communication can be confusing now that people can write things and you can understand differently as how they are saying them.

communication is how you talk with other people

context is understanding what is going on behind a topic

settings are the places where stuff happens

The main difference is the sensorial input in written communication you receive the information via your eyes while in oral communication receiving information through your ears. Now, the advantage of our communication is that you can perceive different stimulus, like the tone of voice, and you can also see when your face-to-face or via soon how people react to what you say, and how they act when they say something.

There are several differences in both communication styles. In face to face communication it is definitely a more expressive way to explain your ideas, not to mention that when it comes tu solving issues or trying to agree on something, the face to face communication can result a lot more effective than a written text conversation. Besides, in the face to face one there´s not the option to wait minutes or hours to respond to a convesation.

The written communication has a great advantage which is to contact anyone from anywhere, regarding the hour or time of the year, the other person will receive the message and respond it.

What a person says can have different meanings depending on the setting. The context provides additional meaning to the conversation. The listener can use the setting to help decode the message. Settings or context include: environment, partner, time of day, feelings or emotions and even history.
