This advert is a Humorous advert. It’s a useful technique of persuasion in an advert, as it grabs the attention of the audience and also the good sensation created when laughing is associated with the product, then the audience links the good feeling we experienced with the product. Therefore it makes the audience feel good and be more interested. When the audience is watching a funny advert, it will automatically make them laugh and pay attention to the product.

In this advert it is based upon adults looking in a shop mirror, and the reflection is their version of a baby. They all start messing about and dancing, this idea would make the audience laugh. I believe this advert is very successful due to the humour side of it. Especially towards the end when the old lady starts dancing because that usually doesn’t happen so it’s interesting and eye catching to see this. This advert consists of a wide shot, long shot and some point of view shots. This appeals to its target audience by making the audience laugh, which will make them want to purchase it. For example they use wide shots when they show the babies dancing in the reflection, to show all of the actors and what is going on.

This advert is a feared advert. It’s a technique to link a good feeling with a product fear using a conflictive strategy. It illustrates a common fear and then demonstrates how the product can solve the problem. Its goal is to show the bad in a product if wanted to stop it.

In this advert it’s based on a man having a cigarette. During the process of smoking it the cigarette starts to form a cancer mutation on it. The advert uses key facts to prove that they’re very bad for you, such as every 15 cigarettes’ you smoke a mutation is formed. I am convinced that this advert sends a very powerful message to those who smoke or wish to stop. It shows the consequences of smoking. In this advert you see close up shots, this was probably used to show a close video of what smoking is like and how it can damage so quickly. This would make the target audience think about how it damages them and what they can do about it. It shows a close up of how the cancer mutation forms and what it looks like. This would make the audience think if they should quit smoking. This is a very powerful technique because its trying to change the audiences view of smoking which is very clever and powerful.

In this advert Drake (the celebrity) is trying to record a song, however he can’t concentrate and nothing seems to be working. But then he drinks some sprite and they have edited his body to open up and we see the sprite rapidly moving throughout his body. Then this makes him be able to finish his song and everything turns out well. This shows that things get better when you drink it. This would make the audience feel like they need to purchase it so things work out better for them in a sense. This advert has used a few close up shots to show in detail what he is doing. This advert contains close up and pov shots due to the main focus of the advert to show and explain what the product does to the body. In the advert as drakes body opens up, the camera goes inside of the body and views all around to get a clear view for the target audience what is going on and how the sprite makes a difference.
