Keating urges his students to “seize the day”—that is, do extraordinary, original things instead of merely imitating their teachers and parents. His example inspires the students to revive a secret society of which Keating was once a member—the Dead Poets Society.

Jane Eyre - Charlotte Brontë

Jane is a wonderful young woman. She had to face the ugly truth of life when she was just a kid but she never lost who she was. At the beginning, we see her as a wild child who fights back as much as she can. Then we witness through all her adolescence. Eventually, she becomes an adult and kind of settles down in her actions but never in her mind.

As I said before, she's an amazing young woman who's alone in the 19th centuries' patriarchal world. She thinks that she doesn't belong to this world but then she realize that there are no ways to fit in a society that is so corrupted. She refuse to believe that life is just what it seems but every time she turns her tables up, fate has another kick for her. Yet, she keeps going on.

Jane is not a feminist. She thinks that men and women are equal but she can not place or understand other women in her head. But her character is written with feminizm because she is smart and she has compassion. She has the brains but she also has a heart. She doesn't choose between being clever and being kind. She does not wipe away her "feminen" emotions to become somebody. She has ideals but that doesn't mean she can not follow her heart when it's time.

She is not a perfect book character. She is one of us. We've met her before. Or she passed us by on an alley. She is real because you, too, felt all her emotions. You also made all her actions before. She found her way and after you meet her, you just know that you will too.

The book that impressed me the most was the "Pomegranate Tree" by Turkish writer Nazan Bekiroğlu. Perhaps the most impressive sentence of the book is "Which story did not end where it started?". A story that started in the years of the Balkan War and extended to the First World War… Two lives born in Trabzon and Tabriz and heading towards each other; first two rivers flowing madly and then stagnating… Settarhan, the mad cartridge son of Tabriz's greatest and most noble carpet merchant, and Zehra, a pearl grain from Trabzon. "Pomegranate Tree" is as rich as an Eastern tale, as beautiful as a dream, and as true as life.

Play is about neighbour women's efforts to find the murderer of John Wright. And along this journey they notice the life of Mrs. Wright and how she was abused by her husband. After women find out who is the murderer, they don't have heart of announcing the murderer, Mrs. Wright .They cover her mistakes.

I cannot say Scarlett O'Hara is all virtuous or good-hearted. She is in fact vain, self-centered and spoiled by her wealthy parents. She is also very passionate, determined, and goes to great lengths to take care of her family. Her true character appears when she lost everything, (money, family, her love) or when she has to make a choice between good and the evil. She is an enjoyable character and famous with the line "After all Tomorrow is another Day"

''The Book of M'' is one of the books that impressed me. Although I have read it 5 or 6 months ago, I still couldn't get out of its influence. It has a complicated and disorganized narrative as it describes the lives of many people around an event. But actually all events are connected. Of course after a while. The fascinating side of the book: was losing important mementos while was getting stronger in life. Sometimes we don't know how memories matter to us. Memories are the ones that make us who we are. They are hidden in our shadows that appear with the sun. But once we lose our shadow, then we forget our selves. We remember that we forgot, but we do not know what we have forgotten. There was no cure for forgetting in this story. Humanity was lost, remedies were disappearing one by one. There was no reason to live in this life in which we could not even know ourselves. You know what's the scariest thing about it? People thought this is something special. It was the human doing this oneself deliberately. People cannot see the downsides of some things just for the sake of power. The main charecters in this story are Max and Ory . While this married couple tries to protect each other, they lose each other. Ory catch in the epidemic in this story and she lose her shadow. They take part in different struggles while trying to find each other. But Ory's forgetting until he loses himself makes him forget even his purpose to live. But Ory's forgetting until he loses himself makes him forget even his purpose to live. It was the last hope: "-Blue -52". But life is never perfect, and this story doesn't have a happy ending.

A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man

The first novel of James Joyce swayed my mind the moment I met the main character, Stephen Dedalus. It was the years when I was engrossed by Latin poetry (e.g. Cicero, Ovid, etc.) and art movements that depict the Greek mythology during my high school years. It is a Bildungsroman, which means you can easily associate the protagonist with yourself while reading the book. Stephen interrogates the adult-driven and rigid rules in his society commencing his own epiphany. He prefers not adapting directly to what is exposed to him, yet deduces some tenets out of his and others' experiences until he becomes an artist after university. The character's passion shows us that he will be able to tackle all the burdens easily, similar to the allegorical character from the Greek mythology, Daedalus flying with his wings up in the sky at modest altitude just like Stephen has to do in life. My favorite quote of him in the novel explains the importance of neutrality and independence of a mind from all ideological, nationalistic, religious, etc. thoughts and belief systems to think, imagine and act based on one's free will: Stephen goes for a walk on the beach, where he observes a young girl wading in the tide. He is struck by her beauty, and realizes, in a moment of epiphany, that the love and desire of beauty should not be a source of shame. Stephen resolves to live his life to the fullest, and vows not to be constrained by the boundaries of his family, his nation, and his religion.
"Beauty is a stasis which creates neither loathing nor desire."

My Sweet Orange Tree
Jose Mauro de Vasconcelos:
I usually classify books as having fun and adding something to my life. This book falls into both categories by far. It has an entertaining narrative and really teaches you the values in life. The book enters your life as "the story of a little boy who discovers pain one day". This book is a work that appeals to all ages, which is the most popular among the world classics. The book is told through the mouth of a little boy, Zeze. Zeze is a clean heart but a very naughty boy. Despite being 5 years old, Zeze is full of life, too smart for his age, and tells about his bitter life in poverty. Because Zeze is very naughty and very clever, everyone except a few people around him calls him a devil. Zeze is even so smart that he quits reading early and is loved by his teacher. The book shares some of Zeze's endless life of adventure and pain with us. Author Jose Mauro De Vasconceles wrote this unique work in twelve days, but the main character Zeze, who is a bit like a section of his own life, says he carried it in a lifetime.

Hachiko:
Adapted from a real event, this book appeals to readers of all ages. The book describes a friendship between Professor Ueno and his smart dog, Hachi, about 100 years ago. The friendship between the professor and Hachi broke up after the death of the professor. But how would they know that this separation will continue their friendship forever ...
Every day, Hachi would take the professor to the train on his way to work and wait for the professor before 3 pm. And after the death of the professor, Hachi continues to wait for the professor at the same time in the same place for about 10 years ... He looks at everyone who gets off the train one by one, never loses hope that the professor will get off the train ... It was a sad and warm story that warmed us. In addition, the Japanese people were so impressed by Hachiko's loyalty that they put his statue at Shibuya Station and a ceremony is held every year on 8 April for Hachi, the faithful bridge of Japan.

''Madonna In A Fur Coat'' is one of the books impressed me. It's really a sad story. The author, who was dismissed while the subject of the book was a banker, enters a job with him with the help of his old friend Hamdi. His roommate Raif Efendi is a neutral person. He calmly responds to even the most violent incidents. Raif Efendi, who lives his last days in his bed, asks the author to burn the diary he has kept. The author says that he will do this only after reading and the story of Madonna in Fur Coat begins. Raif is someone who has a passion for fine arts. During the war years, his father worries that the square is empty and wants to teach him. To learn the intricacies of making soap went to Germany and Turkey will go to the head of the factory. Madonna in a fur coat, a portrait of Maria Puderin, which she saw at an exhibition in Berlin, involuntarily attracts her. Raif only goes after his heart. While living a good life, an unexpected situation arises and all happiness disappears. Raif is a person who looks calm from the outside, but continues to be embittered by life.

Wuthering Heights/ Heathcliff

Heathcliff is for me the greatest example of how society can make a person bad. Every child is innocent at first. The child is identified by the society due to reasons such as family, race or financial situation. The way to make a person "bad" is to make them believe that they are "bad". A person who is made to believe that he is bad has nothing to lose or fear. An excluded person does not have any concerns about looking good by society. Because he has never been a part of that society. This can make people do terrible things. Heatcliff is one of the most "human" characters in my opinion.

The Book Thief
The message from the Book Thief, is that even when there are harsh obstacles coming your way, you need to be calm and try to deal with things in the right manner. Losing hope would be the biggest devastation that you can bring into your life, when you are already praying for your soul to live. As for Liesel, she wanted to live, she didn't want to die. So, Liesel kept her hopes, and courage in life by reading books. Liesel and Hans, her foster father, also both found hope in the sound of Hans' accordion playing. Liesel figured that books was the way she could help herself not be overwhelmed by the devastating situation she is in. Like so, everyone needs to find a way that they feel is comfortable and helps them relax and forget about their prOblems for a bit. This is because sometimes, reality can be really unsatisfying, but we need to know how to cope with it, and most importantly, how to overcome it. This is the message that should be taken from this novel, and another thing is that in this book it shows how much of a struggling life people live. Many have lives so precious, but don't realize them until they see people in worse situations. So another thing to also understand from this book is to embrace the life we are given and live it happily.

I read the book called Mutant Message Down Under which is about an American woman is summoned by a remote tribe of nomadic Aboriginals, who call themselves the "Real People," to accompany them on a four-month long walkabout through the Outback. While traveling barefoot with them through 1,400 miles of rugged desert terrain, she learns a new way of life, including their methods of healing, based on the wisdom of their 50,000-year-old culture. Ultimately, she experiences a dramatic personal transformation. A unique, powerful message from the depths of time has been delivered to all humanity. If we understand that all beings are part of the same universal unity, it is still not too late to save our world from annihilation. Everything that exists is in an incredibly beautiful and delicate balance of interdependence. If we can get this message, it will glorify in our lives like that of Real People.

This book I read in 1999 was signed for me by Marlo Morgan who is both the writer and the main character that year.

The Life Before Us by Emile Ajar (Romain Gary) is a heart-breaking story of Momo, a ten-year-old Muslim Arab boy, who lives in an orphanage run by Madame Rosa. Madame Rosa is a Jewish survivor of Auschwitz concentration camps and former lady of the night. They live in an immigrant neighborhood in Paris. The story of Momo (Mohammed for short) gives you a totally different aspects of life such the role of religion in the modern world, immigration and social inequality, sexual identity, medicine and modern science.

I read the this extraordinary emotional book twice, it is my favorite book of all time.

The story behind the book is no less extraordinary. In 1975, Romain Gary, was a glamorous well-known, but ageing Prix Goncourt winning author. Gary craved a new start and decided to publish a novel under the assumed name Émile Ajar. The Life Before Us went on to win the Prix Goncourt, the second time for Gary, in principle impossible as it can only be won once. To put a face to the pseudonym, he enlisted the help of a relative who claimed to be mentally ill and living in an asylum. Miraculously, everyone bought into it. Only years later, when Gary’s suicide note was found, did the truth about one of the largest literary hoax ever emerge.

A book which is like a nature diary of a biolog that explains the changes in 1m2 area of a forest for a year. This book was particularly interesting for me as I started reading it through the Covid 19 period where we were kept away from streets, daily routines and most importantly ‘the nature’. Different from any other book, i didn’t read it through from the begining to the end. I started with the date i took the book which was March and read it by following the dates of the author’s diary. The language of storytelling that is used by the author brought me to the bits of nature my memories pictured through my life and add a background of science that changed my point of observation. Again, this was one book that kept me through the year of quarantine with the touch of nature.

In this great novel Steinbeck narrates the experiences of George Milton and Lennie Small, who travels from place to place in California, the USA, searching new job opportunities during the Great Depression. George is an intelligent but uneducated man while Lennie Small is a huge, strong but mentally handicapped man. What is striking about the novel is that the two characters are strongly devoted to each other. I can understand why Lennie is devoted to George - he needs George's protection because of his mental disorder. For George, life could be a lot easier without having to worry about and protect Lennie, yet instead, he chose to stand with his mentally ill giant friend. Finally, the most dramatic part of the book was when George had to shoot Lennie after finding out that his giant friend had broken the neck of the ranch owner's wife while petting her hair. The plot and the characters are truly amazing.

The Picture of Dorian Gray(only novel written by the author) is a gothic and philosophical novel by Oscar Wilde. Wilde said that the notion behind the tale is "old in the history of literature", but was a thematic subject to which he had "given a new form".
I assume most people know the basic outline of the plot, but I will give you a few sentences on it. A handsome, narcissistic young man Dorian Gray is the subject of a portrait by Basil Hallward who is an artist impressed and infatuated by Dorian's beauty. Through Basil, Dorian meets Lord Henry Wotton, and he soon is enthralled by the aristocrat's hedonistic world view: that beauty and sensual fulfilment are the only things worth pursuing in life. Newly understanding that his beauty will fade, Dorian expresses the desire to sell his soul, to ensure that the picture, rather than he, will age and fade. The wish is granted, and Dorian pursues a libertine life of varied amoral experiences while staying young and beautiful; all the while, his portrait ages and records every sin.
One of the most intriguing quotes I have seen from Oscar Wilde regarding this book is his comparison of himself to the three main characters. He said that he wrote the three main characters as reflections of himself. Wilde said, “Basil Hallward is what I think I am: Lord Henry is what the world thinks me: Dorian is what I would like to be—in other ages, perhaps.”
Arguably literature's greatest study of shallowness, vanity, casual cruelty and hedonistic selfishness, Wilde lays it down here with a masterpieces. Beautifully written and filled with memorable characters and a deeply moving story. A novel deserving of its status as a classic of English literature.

Tbilisi, Georgia
LEPL Tbilisi N207 Public School
I love reading books and I have many favorite ones but Agatha Christie's novels are always the best. I love detective novels but this isn't only reason why I adore her as a writer. Every time I read her book I'm so interested and every next sentence encourages me to read more and more. Her books is full of mystery and every next action is surprising and sudden. The first Agatha Christie's book I read is "Death on the Nile". It's story about the detective Hercule Poirot who is on holiday in Egypt when he is drawn into the mysterious affair of the newly wed couple: society's beauty, Linnet, and Simon Doyle. Linnet had stolen Simon from his former fiancee, Jacqueline de Bellefort, who is enraged. As a method of revenge Jacqueline follows the Doyles anywhere they go and when Linnet and Simon arrive at their honeymoon destination in Egypt, Jacqueline is waiting for them. She follows them onto the river cruise up the Nile, just when the Doyles had believed that she'd stopped. Linnet is extremely scared, and speaks to Poirot of how she is surrounded by enemies. Some days later, Linnet is found shot through the head in her cabin and Poirot is under pressure to find the killer, before they strike again... There are many more characters with their secrets. The end of the novel will shock you but to be honest it was really obvious from the beginning. I recommend her every book and I truly enjoy reading them. Hope you'll like it too.

To właśnie w nich znajduję spokój i
zabicie czasu. Parę lat temu założyłem swoją własną ,, domową biblioteczkę”
dostępną dla każdego. Bardzo lubię opowiadać o przeczytanej książce
przyjaciołom i zawsze zaskakiwać ich nowymi ciekawostkami.

Książka, o której chcę opowiedzieć to „Harry Potter i Kamień Filozoficzny”.
Napisała ją Joanne K. Rowling (właściwie Joanne Murray) w 1997 roku i od razu
zyskała wielką popularność. Na podstawie tego dzieła powstało wiele gier
komputerowych i planszowych. Jest to powieść, należąca do gatunku literatury
fantastycznej.

kiedy chodziłem do trzeciej klasy szkoły podstawowej.
wykluczony z grupy czytelniczej klasy.

częściowo fikcyjny, a częściowo fantastyczny. Główni bohaterowie to uczniowie

porwać wyobraźni i zagłębić w fantastycznych i bajkowych marzeniach. Po tę
powieść mogą sięgnąć także ci, którzy pragną dopiero poznać i pokochać
magiczne opowieści. Wywarła ona na mnie ogromne wrażenie gdy przeczytałem ją
po raz pierwszy. Zachęcam wszystkich do jej czytania w każdej możliwej chwili,
miłość i przyjaźń.

Kia Ora, my name is Brooke and I am from New Zealand.
I chose this book because I love the horror and thriller genre when it comes to reading. Stephens kings work is obviously world wide known and is something I have appreciated and understood since I was very young (probably too young). I think the thing the captures me the most is how the book makes your imagination run wild and even though the writer might not be telling exactly what’s happening in the book, you can certainly imagine it and that’s chilling. Also the element of innocence involving children and the fear of clowns. There wasn’t one single hero in the book it was all the kids as a team fighting off an evil that only affects them, which nowadays gives off stranger things vibes but back when this book and movie was first released in the 90s it was the single most terrifying thing at the time (for NZ anyway) I try to encourage others to read it. Fun fact, my first brand new copy (not second hand or ruined) I brought of this book I actually brought in Helsinki when I came to visit :)

It affected me for a very long time and now I have been thinking that I have to read it again. A little life is disgusting but healing at the same time.
This book is the book number one that I have recommended to many my friends and my colleagues. My son read it and I was very Proud of him when I saw how much he liked it. Last week one of my colleague (young gym male teacher) sent me a message: I have read it. When do you have time to talk About A little life?

This is the book I am currently reading. I like reading 19th-century authors because they really give me the sense of authenticity, positiveness and full satisfaction from reading. The plot is quite engaging - there is a boy who was born poor and he wants to succeed in life. I am much affected by his struggle between his inner wishes and outer deeds.

This is an autobiographical short story about a fugitive criminal who fled from New Zealand to Germany, with a transfer in Mumbai. A very exciting story that will touch everyone's heart.

Rita Hayworth & Shawshank Redemption by Stephen King

Hi! One of my favorite books of all time (and major motion picture) was written by Stephen King. Stephen King is better known for his horror & suspense novels, so I remember being reluctant to read this book at first, as I was not really a fan of his in general. The Shawshank Redemption was originally published in 1982 and I first read it when I was 15 years old. I was a prodigioud reader from a young age, so tackling a book of this nature with relatively sophisticated themes and language was not so daunting. Though the main character (or protagonist) is Andy Dufresne, other supporting characters such as Red, Tommy, Brooks and even Warden Norton all receive remarkably thorough depiction and evolution. It is not only Andy who we follow to his redemptive moment, but all of the main characters. The pain & triumph of the human experience are expertly micronized and displayed in the narrative format in which King chose to write. I felt, after the first reading of this book, that I actually understood how very fragile we are and how our individual experiences in life are intertwined with our fellow humans. Our ability to be vulnerable is indeed what makes us strong. I have read the book 3 times and seen the movie approximately 8 times. I highly recommend The Shawshank Redemption and hope you find it as entertaining and thought-provoking as I have. Best Regards, Cheryl Wilen, Oslo Norway

The Portrait of Dorian Gray~Oscar Wilde

Martyna Zięba IILO, WIELUŃ POLSKA
The Portrait of Dorian Gray is a universal novel in which the modern reader can find his own problems and dilemmas. It is a must-read for all those who, in the world of ubiquitous images and images, look for their own face and shape the images of others, as well as for all kinds of moralists who hand over condemning sentences too easily. We could say after Gombrowicz, who learned an excellent lesson from Wilde's reading, that "man is most deeply dependent on his reflection in the soul of another human being, even if this soul is idiotic".
The portrait of Dorian Gray is undoubtedly the spiritual autobiography of Oscar Wilde. The artist himself believed that the heroes of this novel reflected various features of his personality. The author wrote in one of his letters - Portrait ... “contains a lot of me. Bazyli Hallward is who I consider myself to be; Lord Henry - who the world thinks me to be; Dorian - what I want to be - maybe in a different time. "This is one of my favorite books.

Kalina Grondowa, Wieluń, Polska

The Song of Achilles is a story of well-known from Homer's Iliad Achilles told by Patroclus.
It's definitely one of my favourite books ever. As I expected from the very begining the story left me all sobbing.
This book was just so beautiful! Madeline Miller definitely has a way with words and I loved how this story was written: Poetical with a lot of mythological facts and with so many details that it succeeded to make this a more than just intriguing journey.
What I loved the most was how she managed to convey Achilles’ and Patroclus relationship though. Even though she never went into detail, never actually let them say that they loved each other; it was still palpable in every single moment they shared together. Those moments were so precious I couldn’t get enough of them and all I wanted was for them to be happy.
I know some things about Greek mythology so I already knew how it would end before it even ended. Still, the sense of foreboding in this book! All those little hints, those infinitesimal innuendos, those tiny insinuations, they piled up and up and up until all I was able to feel was dread!!! By the end of the book I was reduced to a sobbing and crying nervous wreck and the final sentence was like a dagger in my heart.
Unfortunately, I was only able to read an online version but I'm definitely going to buy a paper version soon!

I'll also add that the author of that book had 16 years old when she wrote it so that's really impressive. "Wyspa X" is the first part of the serie and it has a short description on the back of the book, so I'll translate it. Here it is:

Twelve-year-old Summer is one of the most popular young actors in Hollywood. She takes part in the biggest film productions, works with famous people, celebrities and earns millions of money. One day, she goes on a trip to Australia to act in another movie but something weird happens to the plane and she doesn't arrive. When the airplane starts to disappear, she jumps out of it. A mysterious stranger helped her to get out, but unfortunately she landed on the ground and fainted, instead of jumping into the water. After she woke up and recovered, Summer realised that she landed on an invisible island, along with 9-year-old girl with unusually high IQ and 13-year-old boy who seems like a crazy mechanic. When another weird things start to happen, Summer finds out that she has some sort of magical power. But that's just the beginning of the surprises...

I love reading books and so far I have read a lot of them, however, none of them made such an impression on me as "25 years of innocence. The case of Tomek Komenda" by Grzegorz Głuszak. Based on scandalous documents or absurd testimonies of witnesses, the innocent young man was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Because this story is based on facts and reveals the backstage of the trial of Tomasz Komenda, who was deprived of eighteen years of life for the 🤬 in Miłoszyce, the so-called the Miłoszyce crime. Although this event shocked the whole Poland, none of us has ever learned as many details as there are in this book. Personally, this book not only clarified a famous issue that I had not known so far about, but also allowed me to appreciate the taste of freedom that I enjoy every day.

(ساق البامبو The bamboo stalked) a novel written by Kuwaiti Saud Al-Sanousi, for which he won the 2013 International Prize for Arabic Fiction, a novel that records its dates between the Philippines and Kuwait and deals with some historical, political and religious issues and events, and in 2016 a Kuwaiti series was produced with the same name of the novel. The jury described the winning novel as “courteous in construction, distinguished by strength and depth, and poses the question of identity in the societies of the Arab Gulf,” and considered it the best novel to be published during the year 2012.The novel deals with the topic of searching for identity in Kuwait and the Arab Gulf states through the life of the narrator, who is the son of a Kuwaiti and a Filipina, and its events are set in these two countries. Although it is not the first to address the issue of foreign workers in the Gulf countries, it is characterized by a smooth approach away from complexity and in-depth analysis. The hero's dual identity is evident even through his dual name Isa / Jose. The novel raised critical questions about the intertwining of religion and culture among Arabs, and about what some consider superficial to overwhelm the religious discourse and practice of Arabs. The novel is loaded with many events that are simple in its form and deep in its human dimension

W książce został ukazany aspekt uczuć z punktu widzenia mężczyzny, to też coś niezwykłego. Rzadko się zdarza by tyle miejsca poświęcić męskim uczuciom. Lektura zawiera wiele życiowych mądrości, przemyśleń i przesłań.

Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach

This is a fable in novella form about a seagull who is trying to learn about life and flight, as well as about self-perfection.

It is a story of Jonathan Livingston Seagull, a seagull who is bored with his daily life. He has a strong passion for flying, so he goes beyond his limits and learns everything he can about flying. Since he is not willing to succumb to conformity, he is punished by his flock and expelled into the wild. As an outcast, he continues to perfect his flying skills, and lives a peaceful and happy life.

One day Jonathan meets two gulls who take him to a "higher plane of existence" in which there is no heaven, but a better world found through perfection of knowledge. He gets acquainted with another seagull there, who also loves flying. He learns that his desire to learn how to perfect his flying is a very rare quality among his kind. In this new realm, Jonathan makes friends with the wisest seagull, Chiang, who shows him how to move to any place in the Universe, without using his wings at all. The secret is to know that you have already arrived, before even setting on a journey.

Jonathan, however, decides to return to Earth after this experience, where he finds other seagulls like himself and teachers them how to fly. His mission is successful, and he gathers other birds around himself who are also outlaws, and teaches them the art of flying.

This short story has inspired me to believe in myself and to never give up in my endeavours to perfect my skills. It is a wonderful read that awakens the true potential of imagination, which is at the core of human evolution in general. A must read!

Book Review
Book : The Zahir
Author : Paulo Coelho
Greetings from Pakistan.
I am a teacher and book lover...
I am very excited to share my collection of books with you with some specific reviews...
So at first place I would choose books by contemporary writer Paulo Coelho.... I have read all his books and almost all are amazing with so many mundane philosophies to get by in our hectic lifestyle of modern world. One of them is his book The Zahir. Don't think it's an Islamic book. It's his trait to dig out universal philosophical ideas from different beliefs and theologies. This book came out in 2005 in his native language Portuguese and is translated in many other languages.
This book has a plot of a pilgrimage. Apparently it's themes are love, loss and obsession...
But what I found in it useful was another theme. A theme of "letting go".. One of the hardest thing to do in one's life. This whole novel teaches you how to accept, wait patiently and let go when needed... It made my life stable.
Plot of the novel is sequential... Running on a smooth silky road of thoughts with very convincing diction.
Imagery is connotative and keeps the reader interested to read more and more in one sitting.
I hope if you like this. I would try to bring a review on different books I have with more details, every week.
Regards

Wasps was first performed at the festival of the Lenaia early in 422 B.C.It pokes satirical fun at the Athenian demagogue Cleon and his power-base, the law courts, in a story about the old juror Philocleon who is addicted to his jury work and his son Bdelycleon’s ill-fated attempts to reform him.
The entire jury system is also a target of Aristophanes‘ satire: jurors at that time received no instruction and there was no judge as such to make sure the law was followed (the magistrate in charge simply kept order and kept the proceedings moving). There was no appeal from the decisions of such juries, few rules of evidence (and all sorts of personal attacks, second hand opinion and other forms of doubtful evidence were admitted in court) and juries were capable of acting like mobs, whipped up into making all sorts of wrong decisions by a skilful public speaker (like Cleon).

A Voyage to Arcturus is Lindsay's first writing adventure so you can see amateurism of writer but I think it is one of the most beautiful books. The story starting with a session and after that, our main character Maskull joining some guys with their journey to planet Tormance which is only planet of Arcturus dual star system. When he get there, he realizes that other two guys named Nightspore and Krag left him alone. So he is starting to search them on this strange planet and while that he meeting with other natives and learning their belief. Here we starting to query God and Devil, goodness and evilness. İn this planet to our pure hearted character, everything forcing him to commiting murder. And when he do that, he realizes that people who are died becoming to this planet's god Cyristalman. And he witnessing so many miraculous things. A man playing with a lake and create so beautiful and deadly melodies for example. I think that everyone who read this book will query everything while reading it. So because of that I suggest you to this. Good readings, thanks for reading.
