         <description><![CDATA[<div>While visiting his family in Money, Mississippi, Emmett was murdered. Emmett and a couple of his friends went to the grocery store. While there, he was accused of whistling. Her husband, Roy Bryant and his half brother, J.W. Milam murdered Emmett for this accusation. They took him from his home, beat him, shot him, and then threw him in the river. His body was discovered days later.
