It was not until the early 1940s that the virus was actually isolated by Ren Kimura and Susumu Hotta. The Dengue Fever was not common anywhere else except in Southeast Asia during the Dengue epidemic. During this epidemic, the virus began to spread around the world more.</div>]]></description>
