-My father always said “to be a reader is to be a leader” and my mother would always buy me children's books when I was younger because she knew I liked to read before going to sleep. 
2. Rainbow High School Literature Class 
-We were given different sorts of reading materials to read, from poems to fiction novels and theatre plays. It was is one of my most memorable literacy sponsors. However, as I continued to take the class I realized I found reading and writing literature pieces were more of a school assignment that was mandatory and no longer exciting.
3. Advertisements on Television
-Due to different marketing schemes for different brands, particularly cleaning products, I would always read the plastic label on household cleaning products. From the bathroom air fresheners, to brands such as Handy Andy cleaning detergent,  I made it a point to not only read the claims they had said on the television adverts, but also the instructions, warnings, in case of ingestion suggestions and even the ingredients list- although I could not even pronounce half of the words found on that list. 
4. Broadhurst Primary School Library 
-In my younger years I read fiction broadly, from Road Dahl to Jacqueline Wilson and the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. My primary school library had a beautiful collection of books by these authors and so much more that I was spoilt for choice. 
5. Twitter Threads
-Sometimes I would come across a thread on twitter that was promoting a specific genre of books that the author of the thread thought people that are interested in this genre should read. 2)Grandparents: their sponsorship my not have been direct as they have not understand todays education system and cannot completely get my problems about a default class or my need to change major. But their constant reassurance that everything will be ok in the end and that they always have my back, is enough to get me back on my feet again.
