         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Nepalese government has eased location requirements for setting up casinos and electronic game venues close to international borders, Nepalese media reported.</p><p><br/></p><p>The Kathmandu Post newspaper reported at a Cabinet meeting in late June that authorities decided to revise casino rules in 2013 to allow casinos and electronic game venues to operate up to 3 kilometers (1.86 miles) from international borders. </p><p>Under the original provisions, such venues had to be at least 5 kilometers away from international borders.</p><p><br/></p><p>"The government has shown flexibility in the context of the upcoming Visit Nepal 2020 campaign, by allowing casinos to operate at distances of up to 3km from international borders," the outlet quoted tourism ministry spokesperson Ganshaam Upadhyaya as saying. <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://www.homeplate.kr/"><strong>파워볼사이트</strong></a></p><p><br/></p><p>According to the newspaper, many casino resorts are currently being built to serve cross-border customers from nearby India.</p><p><br/></p><p>A senior official at the tourism ministry, which issues casinos and electronic game licenses, said the ministry has proposed new measures to boost tourism. "There is no logic in restricting casinos within certain areas or streets," the official told the Kathmandu Post. "The key requirement is to properly monitor casinos," he added.</p><p><br/></p><p>The newspaper quoted another official from the ministry as saying the ministry was preparing a new casino law that would become part of Nepal's new tourism law.</p>]]></description>
